One thing you should've mentioned is the operating temperature. Butane lighter don't work well/at all if kept in cold, arc lighters probably lose charge (faster) in cold weather. But the petrol lighters/zippos work just fine no matter how cold it is outside.
@Weaponsandstuff938 жыл бұрын
Well lighter fluid will actually freeze if it gets too cold, but that's a much lower temperature than would ever normally be encountered. Keeping a lighter on an inside pocket means body heat will stop the butane from failing.
@IronHawkFIN8 жыл бұрын
Well actually, I work outdoors and just few weeks ago the temperature outside was -25 to -30 degrees celsius. I kept my lighter on my side pocket and whenever you try to light a cigarette, my normal butane lighter didnt either work at all or the flame was really really small and flickering. So either you use a zippo or keep that butane lighter under all of your clothing, which then is a pain in the ass to take out from.

@@Weaponsandstuff93 should have highlighted that as a feature of it then, if your a everyday smoker, not cigarettes, im talking about cannabis, its one of the best to use, because of the feature it can help with rolling blunts and joints, and both the bottom of the lighter and the end of the flint to help pack bowls, and unlike BICs they can be refilled, also it wont burn your hand if you know how you use a lighter, just saying, I've never burnt my hand with a clipper

You want to make a video about lighters and you don't even mention that you can take the flint off from the clipper and pack down your joints with it

The clipper is the best for survival situations by far! The jet lighters use too much butane! Zippos need to be refilled every other day and the fuel leaks out 24/7! Clipper ftw! Ps. Bics suck because you can't change the flint or refill them! And the striking reel hurts your finger!

The fuel usage varies a lot on the jet lighter, some barely use fuel and have a very small concentrated flame, the other great thing with a Clipper is that you can hold it at an angle and it makes a bigger flame.

I think the best ones are Clipper but the all metalic ones for smoking weed and the Zippos for everything else especially for the history they hold

Where do you buy a £10 zippo

Bic is the best disposable. Clipper breaks after you change the flint three times. Those jet lighters are very delicate and are easily corrupted by dust or variations in temperature. In my experience cheap imco lighter from aliexpress is the most reliable kind of lighter but it is hard to use since flame is small and it smells as bad as zippo.

Do you think I'll be able to burn loose threads off of clothes with the electric lighter? Which one do you recommend for that?
@Weaponsandstuff936 жыл бұрын
Yes but obviously don't do it if the clothes are flammable, I'd probably recommend the forhu type ones I've done a video on.

If using a Zippo...point it downwards and you get a nice longer flame
