Can I just say how much I appreciate Baalor trying out this new thumbnail style? Obviously not a big deal but I'm getting a little tired of a reaction face thumbnails on so many KZbin vids, so this feels refreshing and surprisingly original in its simplicity. I wonder if its negatively/positively affecting views at all being less clickbaitey?

The bit about Echo Form's potential performance in a deck like this is super interesting. I've always seen it as Defect's most versatile rare by far, because it synergizes with almost everything, but if there's ever a deck where it's not contributing much scaling then it makes sense that it's this one.

this run is actually inspiring, I have 1000+ hrs into this game but I didn't know Unceasing can be this good if you invested heavily into it. The final Scrape offer right before the heart is almost poetic

I think by “that much” he meant “enough to overcome the downside of busted crown”, but when he reevaluated that busted crown has a lower downside than it typically would he acknowledged that the extra energy would still be good to have. I know your comment wasn’t meant super seriously, I’m just explaining what I think his thought process was there.

I've played a lot of custom games starting with Unceasing Top. There's a danger of leaning into it too much in act one, but I generally sail through act two, then look for Time Eater solutions in act three. I think you overvalued Recycling Zap and Dualcast, since they don't stop the top, and I think there were a couple turns where you used the Pocket Watch when Top would have taken care of you and helped you build block and dex. Cramming tons of zero-cost cards in can help water down the effects of statuses and Ascenders Bane, and works great with Aggregate.

Umm, you seem to have a problem with my comment, but I don't know what it is. Balorlord is an incredible player and it's rare that I would think I had any advice to offer him, but for once he's playing in a space where I have more experience. I thought he might like to hear my opinion, because I think he looks for any opportunity to improve his game, and even if he didn't, a number of other people did; notice the twelve thumbs-up I received. Perhaps before you attack someone online, take a moment to think why it bothered you, and if you're going to reply, consider how it can achieve your desired intent.

Sometimes when I watch Baalor, I think “I never would have made that decision, what in the world, the other option was better.” But then I remember my win rate is about half the % of his and I’ve only unlocked ascension 11 on all characters. Yeah same, i have like 2k hours in the game and i still learn a lot when watching him, and some people just like to comment on the smallest things they would have done differently, so just let them drive the car a bit too :P

I think a good way to maybe fix cauldron is to offer 2 common, 2 uncommon, and 1 rare potion. Or 1 of each and give a potion slot? I really don't like cauldron how it is now. That act 4 cauldron was abysmal lol.

Such a rare relic to see someone buy, and we saw why 😅 Extra potion slots would be interesting, the current potion economy at asc 20 is pretty good though. Having 3 slots let's you hold onto Dex+artifact pots so easily. As I've heard others say, it's okay to have bad cards. Not everything has to be overpowered in special situations, and it's okay to have stuff you almost never take - otherwise everything is wraith form and your decisions don't matter.

Bottling ball lightning over beamcell would technically waste vuln damage since the deck at this point already went through the deck in 2 turns thanks to turbo, and dualcast was always alive because of 0 cost zap and cracked core. Rip and tear is in theory a good card with reprogram, but at the same time it's a unnecessary card to add since all 0 cost cards at this point were all the damage you need. If you want to add cards that cost energy it has to be either deck manipulation or scaling/block. So harshly said, you would just add a unexhaustable slime into your deck in a unceasing top deck. And chill is also in theory a good addition for decks like this but reprogram was already eating up the focus and you don't want to add too many unnecessary skills in case for matchups like chosen where you get a dazed shuffled into your deck or you draw ancenders bane or another status goes into your deck in fights like nemesis, which can outright end your turn if you don't have card draw.

Ball lightning just slows the deck down and quickly becomes a slightly better strike, due to reprogram. Dualcast doesn’t need an orb. This wasn’t an orb deck. And chill is only going to be free block until reprogram.. so kinda worthless and makes the deck even weaker to time slime
