If you like the MGs, you'll love the Commando. He is cheaper, tankier and has higher damage. He is less accurate but thats a good thing on the commando

a building tip, the pumpkin decoration u got, put it as far out as possible. it'll help u see a little farther out into the battlefield allowing u to see your enemies sooner and it actually even let's your attack sooner as well in defense/survival games hopefully this helps.

Veterans: Veterans are based on damage from what I've seen. They also all have a separate leveling up bar for veteran. Grunts are the easiest to make veteran because they are the weakest and cheapest. Rocketeers are also really easy to level up because they do high damage per shot and can hit multiple defenses or units. Riots, Medics, and Surgeons are great to keep the desired unit to veteran, 1. To keep him alive 2. They don't do a lot of damage, allowing the desired unit to come and shoot up the place. Tear gas and focus fire are recommended because it allows your troops to shoot at disoriented defenses or to be able to shoot walls and out of the range of defenses.

I found that the sergeants benefits will also help those troops level up in veteran due to their increased accuracy and damage. Sergeants are great for helping Riots veterans as well.

The Riot soldiers actually have two health bars, one on the soldier and one on the shield. If the shield breaks the soldier gets hit. The shield only protects the front of him though so they can get shot from the back or side's, they can also get shot from panicking from poison or fire and from staggering because they'll drop their Shield.

The blue bar you see under veterans are their "how many defense loses they can take" bar. You spawn them in offense but if they die or you lose, you instantly lose those vets. Level 1 vets have to lose 3 defenses before they are gone.

he should stay below 400 build points though, the best bases in the game and the most common ones at very high levels only have ~400 build points and only use tier 3 bombardier veterans, having 400 build points or less means the enemy only has 5 min and 30 sec to attack you which is very small

Baron dont use you're lower cost on grunts but on the most expensive units. It reduce by % the cost so more they cost more it will be reduce. And the grunt are so low you don't need that on them but on you're machine gunner for be able to create more of them

Attila master I don't really know if that works, it just means that the enemy will break through the weaker defenses more easily. The best thing to do is have an impenetrable choke point and maybe a small defense at the back.

Baron, decoys only work if they are in enemyes line of sight, and the best way to earn veterans is to go card overkill (munition, focus fire(try to hit structures in line(aim for A-A gun behind the sniper, behind a bunker, behind walls)) dont hesetate to use cards)on 2 skulls and above.

Baron, there is this one proverb: An easy enemy never made a good soldier. This is true for the game. Maybe try to fight harder bases to get veterans.

You may or may not have noticed but the chemist/flamethrower combo will wipe the floor against troops. Having them protected long enough for them to fire is insta-kill against enemies. Supporting them with shields, grenadiers, or grunts would help allot. Having a medic though would help more.

Hey Baron, if you want a veteran, Ex. if you want a medic you spawn more and put in the front and you should try to find a base with many thing to shoot (towers) and if you shoot important towers and high troops like a machine gunner, Sargent and a riot shielder than if you hit walls, barbed wire, explosive barrels etc.

Baron, don't know if you have figured out yet, but teargas cards affect every building and soldier exept flamethrower dude, HQ, Anti-Air and Mortars, which is useful if a base has a lot of different buildings close to each other, as you can do a lot of damage when they can't

Baron, don't focus fire on the walls, pick a target the other side and they'll chew through the walls to get to it then destroy it too =D Rally flag them to where you want the breach and break into bases that way.

If you use a low tier building and build it next to another low tier building and don't move it then, you can have them within a close proximity to each other and then upgrade them. Just don't move them once you place them. I figured you could have the stored up deffences for something.

When using focus fire u can put it behind the wall and all men which have guns with bullets ( not rocketman grenadier and so on) will shoot in that direction and everything and everybody will be eliminated in that direction. By doing so you will be able to destroy multiple buildings.

Btw Baron the veteran stuff is also based on what kind of building and unita they are fighting if ya go through ya videos you see at some raids you have people killing like war machine but the buildings are low lvl but when you have mass swarm and you go against high lvl buildings and you get alot of troopers. But whom knows maybe all soldiers share.

There is an Experiance modifier based on base difficulty. 0 skulls is x0% so no experiance for troops at all, 1 skull is x50% exp to troops. 2 Skull or higher is 100% experiance to troops towards becoming veteran. And yes anything your troops hit counts for exp.

it may say bases are weaker, however it goes of your dog tags to find you a worthy opponent. it is just so you can have a challange. so you have 7k dog tags which means you will see 1.5k and up bases, or should. also, if someone comes in with a lot of para troopers based on your base layout, your gonna have trouble if not lose. a way to fix this is to grind up levels to get another anti air weapon or upgrade the hell out of your current anti air. i have seen bases like this that i have attacked and demolished because i find there weak spots and use them.

Well, I cant play the game anymore.. 2 weeks, 80 hours of playing in, I decided to spend money in game, spent $50 yesterday, and now the game doesnt work anymore.. 8th the way through load screen I get an error message. A lot of people end up getting it and their game never works again. Been happening since release and the devs say its fixed which clearly it isnt.. Just a heads up, your game may stop working permanently at any time..
