My daughter undergrad school is MIT, 1st major in Mathematics; 2nd major in Economics. Then attended Stanford for PhD in Stats and Computer Science. She is a researcher in AI now. Those two schools prepared her and I'm grateful for the schools efforts.

I cannot imagine that MIT graduates couldn't find well-paid jobs. Generally speaking, those who continue studying for PHD couldn't find job after undergraduate degree. Most of MIT students got high paying job offer BEFORE graduation, even avg. MIT students...

@@graces.2827 My daughter had over 30 job offers when she graduated from MIT even she was NOT LOOKING for a job. She has very high expectations for herself and she had very high Fellowships for her PhD program, we never paid any thing for her. Now she is one of the top researcher in AI field and is very well paid. Those great schools prepared her very well.

@@graces.2827 Well, my daughter was top 10% among MIT grads. 2nd yr at Stanford PhD program, she was named by National Science Foundation as the "FELLOW" in mathematical field w/ a big fellowship. People have different expectations for themselves. In my extended family, no one stopped after BS. All pursued higher educations and all in STEMs.
very true as this kind of rating is ultra subjective. Brown University attracts super intelligent ones from the whole world and give students a piece of mind unlike any universities mentioned above. It is all about IQ and EQ, EQ is far important than IQ to be obtained easily from google.
