These look great ! And at this price point they're not going to break the bank either. Creative have been round since we were kids so its nice to still see them making quality equipment. Thanks Mike and Kath

Thanks 🙏 appreciate your kind words and support. Creative labs and the creative brand have been a staple of the pc market for so long, there was a point where if you didn’t have a creative sound card you were very much in the minority

i am looking at maybe trading up for the T40 set, not much more expensive on the used or new market

I've had these for YEARS and they're brilliant. My girlfriend recently bought some and she loves them too. They're easily the best bang for buck PC speakers.

These are the ones I've been using for 8+ years, great sound for a pair of small stereo speakers.

They are really good for the size and price especially on the used market

Nice to get an opinion on speakers. Sadly I have an odd pc setup, and as a result I need an extra long cable from the main speaker to reach safely back to my PC, about 2.5m. Currently I settle for the Creative Pebbles which are at least USB powered. But interesting and worth watching out for. Thanks.

I have the original T40-mk2 from around that time period, fantastic speakers I used them daily for many years but I think the power supply brick finally went about a year back. It's got an unusual power supply 27v if I remember right and can only get a proper one direct from creative. I read the latest version of these t20/t40 have an auto-turn off function to save power which some people complain of.
@mikesunboxing5 ай бұрын
yeah the MK2 is the one to avoid if you are in the EU / UK it seems

I had a set of these a while ago (also I got 2nd hand) . They were really good for monitor speakers. Impressive for units without a sub.

What would you suggest that are better then ?

Somewhere, I still have my old pair of Trust Soundwave 20, they sounded way better than they should for their size

Damn!!! I needed a pair of basic speakers a few months ago and I think these would have been perfect. The ones I have only have logo of "PA" on them. They have a power button, a volume knob, the obligatory headphone jack and... a BRIGHT BLUE LED that I covered with paint. I got them at Micro Center because they were cheap.

yeah these are really good or even the T10 model that we reviewed many years ago, still have those here as well

Love mine too. Have had them forever. I bought the newer version for my father and while they still sound great, the buttons are not as nice. Only annoying feature of this model is the intense blue led in your face.
@mikesunboxing2 ай бұрын
yeah the blue led is a pain, i put a small square of black electrical tape over it and it is no longer annoying

that is often the best way, tailor them to your personal preference, we all perceive sounds a little differently

I have the T30s and i do not like them. It is not the quality of sound that is annoying. One can't expect wonders from these anyway. They turn off after a while when there is no sound output, so i have to go and turn them on every once in a while. If there is direct sunlight on them, one can't see if they are off or on. And they are also unstable. I do not know what else is there in this price range but the t30 i would not buy again.
@mikesunboxing5 ай бұрын
The power down feature is a real pain
@pureplay70715 ай бұрын
You must have something setup wrong because yes they do go a little distorted max volume and I mean just a little, nowhere near how you have it.
