I run all my lasers on Lightburn, it works well on Mac. You have to buy it, but it's a one time purchase

Does the OLM3 LE 20 Watt have foldable feet. I don't see them in the photo like I do on the 10 Watt

Might be an extra option, I'd check the sales page

Nice review. I’m between this and Sainsmart LC-50 Plus. Ortur advertises 12mm wood cut in one pass and 10mm acrylic in one pass. Sainsmart is I think 10 and 5 but the wattage is the same. The LC-50 has 4” wider work area, includes air pump, and wire management looks better. Ortur seems to have bigger following and has WiFi. LC-50 has linear bearings and Ortur has wheels. I’m new so any help in my buying decision appreciated.

Xtool also has a 40w option now. Based on what the 20w did.. that 40w is wild. Following doesn’t just mean brand recognition, but generally better support. Lasers don’t have resistance so I don’t think you’re gaining much with linear rails instead of belt.

I just watched your other video on the xTool laser. The 10w xTool is roughly $100 cheaper than the Ortur 10w. In your opinion, which is the better value of the 2?
@YouCanMakeThisToo2 жыл бұрын
On Amazon right now there’s only a $10 difference with the current sales. I’d go Ortur though because it’s an easier assembly, the air assist loses less pressure going to the head, and there was less glitches running it with lightburn.

I heard it from NEJE direct that you can run a diode laser at 100% with no real decrease in life. That’s a throwback from older diode tech with bad cooling and also CO2 lasers
@YouCanMakeThisToo2 жыл бұрын
Ah that makes sense. I’ve spent a lot more time with co2 and just assumed. Thanks for clarifying!

@@YouCanMakeThisToo no worries. I still see it a lot on forums etc, but this info came straight from the manufacturer while we were troubleshooting a recent module failure. Love your channel by the way, great stuff 👍

How do I center the laser when I'm engraving designs on my chest? I am able to balance it with my nipples as they are always rock hard. Just trying to figure out how to z drop it without the laser getting into my belly button please help

I bought an ORTUR Master 3 LE in January, and it still does not work. I have sent loads of emails, videos, and photos, so they sent me a secondhand laser, which does not work either. Today 31/05/2023 and I have been ripped off by ORTUR.
