I am not a classical music person but there are times when I get lost in the moment. I used to work as a diversional therapist in a nursing home with frail aged and dementia sufferers. Some of the classical music was so settling for these people. I sometimes used scarves and did my pretend ballet. Responses were so positive.

I used to play a keyboard and sing in retirement homes and it was a regular occurrence for dementia patients to singalong with the old ones. Sadly the greedy management people won’t or didn’t want to pay for it. Less than £2 per person in the room. For good quality entertainment and therapeutic music. 🤔😔😢
