I have really grown to enjoy vetiver scents. Terre de Hermes Vetiver Intense and their original. Also of course Tom Ford Gray Vetiver and Creed Geranium Vetiver. That’s all the Vetiver I need. Great video Max!

Thanks for doing this Max!. I just purchased my 3rd different Vetiver fragrance Lalique Encre Noire A L'extreme. Wow! This fragrance is intense. Similar to what you said it takes a while before it becomes pleasant to the smell. I love it, but some of my friends find it a bit offensive and I don't care. I love it...that's what matters. BTW i do like Tom Ford Grey Vetiver better. Again, thanks for covering vetiver frags and can't wait for the rest of your list..

Vetiver from guerlain I smell this one on a friend after he skates for a few hours and he pass by me and I love that smell I got a bottle and don’t smells same on my skin. But in some people smells great. I really love it.

My favorite note! Unfortunately, Bel Ami Vetiver turned sour on my skin. As for Lalique, I got the Encre Noire A L'Extreme which resembles my Chanel Sycomore. Looking forward to the rest of your vetiver collection!

Very nice! Dan Mish got me interested, and subsequently hooked, in vetiver and oud fragrances and I love 'em from the green, grassy and fresh, to the deep, dark, rooty and earthy, and everything in between. Offhand, I am not a huge fan of the Prada Vetiver, but I have 200ml that I revisit each Spring and hope to one day come to appreciate. Carven vetivers are criminally underrated IMO. Okay, Le Vetiver is very similar (bright/fresh/citrusy opening) to their original 1950s Vetiver release that later underwent 2-3 reformulations. That also had a similar looking bottle of Carven Vetiver that wasn't as good, but still nice. Carven Vetiver 2014 is pretty much the now discontinued Le Vetiver with a added note of Lemongrass. Okay, I really dig the note of lemongrass in this scent (although now as much as Le Vetiver) but it garners a lot of bad reviews on Fragrantica. I think it's a great vetiver scent, but if you don't like the note of lemongrass (which is fairly robust) then you might now like this one. Plus, the retail price is a bit high. I wish they would bring back Le Vetiver since I'm on my last bottle. I waited 3-months until I could get my mitts on a bottle of Bel Ami Vetiver. It's a more classic/mature vetiver with a leathery base. This was a favorite but, to be honest, when I applied it this Spring it felt a bit dated. It's me, I know! Can't wait to see what else is in your Top 25.

Love Lalique Encre Noir L'Extreme. It's so similar to Sycomore that it's ok to overspray. The Bel Ami Vetiver sounds wonderful as well.

TdH is DEFINITELY going to be on the list, but I bet you won't have Terrarossa by Profumo di Firenze! It's probably my favourite straight vetiver scent of all time. Thanks to Nigel from 2ScentsWorth, I probably picked up one of the last bottles out there, and for dirt cheap. Would love to get your thoughts on Wild Vetiver from Bentley one day Max. Might be worth picking up when the price drops.

#1 for me has to be Nishane Sultan Vetiver. I feel it really established a new standard for vetiver fragrances. Bel Ami Vetiver is another favorite. Love its complexity. Surprised it was so low on the list.
