There is lots of language we can read in Animal Crossing New Horizons. It is the language we use when walking around town talking to neighbors, shopping in stores, visiting museums. You can learn the Spanish names of lots of fish, bugs, shells, fossils, clothing and furniture plus lots more. It isn't fantasy language. It is the real language we use today. It is also very easy to pause and look up translations while playing. The language stays on screen until you respond. I use Google Translate on my tablet and set it to translate via the camera.

I've never been a video game player but I feel like I need a way to learn Spanish that is interactive and fast-paced, otherwise I seem to get bored. I watch a lot of travel videos in Spanish but if I'm not understanding it, I just tend to tune it out. I've subscribed to your channel. Hope to learn more.

He estado aprendiendo español durante 18 meses y he jugado The Last of Us (PS3 original) en español.

I highly recommend video games to help with language learning. On a side note to your post. When I started to learn Spanish I was advised to steer clear of Spanish language films and TV series. I defied that advice. I am a big fan of Almadóvar and have many films on DVD by him. When I watch films I do so with Spanish subtitles, until I am familiar with the story and characters. Toc Toc is a good one for language learning; I watched it over and over. Humour is a great tool for learning, I have found. Ayer empecé jugar Ghost of Tsushima en español en PS5. ¡Excelente!

You can play Skyrim and AC: Black Flag in Spanish on the Switch, you just download the language packs as DLC. As well as the Assassin's Creed games Ubisoft dub most of their games into multiple languages so Watch Dogs etc. as well. My recommendation for great CI is Until Dawn on Playstation, it's nonstop clear, important dialogue and is actually fun too. Similar games are Detroit Become Human and Heavy Rain.

1. The switch is very easy to bypass region lock. Create a new Nintendo account, and select what region/county you want. 2. The 3ds isn't too hard to bypass region lock. You do have to mod it, but you can do it in less then an hour, very little risk and all you need is another device with a micro SD card reader, file explorer, and an internet browser.

Finding a game that uses Latin American Spanish is next to impossible. I don't like European Spanish. Especially that lithp...Though I do wish Latin America would use Vosotros. It seems silly to leave it out, and it seems silly that I sort of have to choose. 7:15 I mean come on...
@NazraT17042 жыл бұрын
I agree with the “lithp”, but disagree with the vosotros. Spain is the only one that uses it, and it would be easier for them to stop than all others to start. Plus, why add extra conjugations if you don’t have to? There’s already enough
@ジョジョさま2 жыл бұрын
@@NazraT1704 Latinamerica never used vosotros because thats how missionaries spoke. It doesn't make sense to use nosotros for then and you all.
@NazraT17042 жыл бұрын
@@ジョジョさま nosotros is for us, but that’s not relevant There’s no need to use vosotros. It’s just an extra conjugation. And stating the reason why latam doesn’t use it, doesn’t change the fact that it’s easier to get one country to stop than to get 18, or however many, to start English doesn’t have a separate conjugation for you formal and you informal and we do just fine, and I’m sure other languages as well. Not to mention *all* of latam does fine too. There’s just no need for vosotros. Seems silly to use it when you don’t have to

@@NazraT1704 They understand it. They all do. They don't use it by choice, not even to clarify misunderstandings. So, it's entirely by choice. I'd even venture to say that it isn't because of culture.

@@ジョジョさま I never said they don’t understand it? I said there’s no reason to use it. There are languages with far less conjugations that get by fine.
