I have this Wittener chin rest and it indeed is comfortable because the edge at the end does not dig into my neck like some others. It is expensive for plastic but it works well.

Great video! I’m currently looking into this same Wittner height adjustable chin rest as well, but I’m wondering if this can be placed off to the left side instead of the middle, since I’m having a hard time finding a height adjustable chin rest that is specifically designed to be side mounted

I use the Augsburg but mount it to the side, that works for me. I didn't think the side mounted one was adjustable.

I have had difficulty finding a should rest my entire life. The distance between my collarbone and the edge of my shoulder is very small compared to most adults. It is a little less than 4". I have not been able to find anything that when attached to the violin is actually between my collarbone and shoulder - it hangs off the shoulder (I hope this explanation is sufficient for you to understand.) Do you any suggestions? Can the rest you're describing in this video work for me? (I don't have any music stores near me, so I have to purchase everything online which makes matters even more difficult. Thanks!
