It's just like you said that there's a cultural difference between German clubs and English clubs. English team's fanbases bounce off their players's performance. If the team isn't playing well then it reflects on the fans as well. There usually needs to be some moment to ignite the fans (for eg Xhaka vs Liverpool at Anfield). German fans on the other hand keep going on and on supporting their team throughout the game regardless of their team's performance which is very respectable. Also don't know whether the restrictions regarding pyros and stuff are more prevalent in England or not. Safe standing also makes a big difference imo since it has been very restricted in England ever since the Hillsborough disaster. Also, all big clubs have a shit ton of tourist fans attending alongside corporate seating which dulls the overall atmosphere a bit.

Sadly have to agree with Gladbach's ranking. I went last year to see the Rhineland Derby against Köln in April and the experience was surreal. On the one hand, the city lives and breathes football in a way few can match. Like everywhere you look, you see the team's colors and logo. On the other hand, that passion was nowhere to be found in the actual stadium itself, other than the ultras. Yes, it didn't help that they went down early against their arch rival, but there just wasn't any belief that they could mount a comeback. More than the fans having gotten used to a degree of success, I think there was a sense among the fans that the team itself was unmotivated. Fans could accept a team losing, even badly, if they felt the players were giving it their all, but with Gladbach for whatever reason that feeling is no longer there. The club still regularly sells out home matches, though, so the fans clearly haven't given up hope just yet.

As a Real Madrid fan, I’m disappointed about the 12th but at least we’re ranked last (I honestly can see why were ranked so low tbh)

What you said to Real Madrid fans that they weren’t hyped until Real Madrid woke up I mean i wouldn’t be so hyped jf my team was being knocked out of the most important club competition in the game

The moment when i fell in love with my club, hapoel Jerusalem (left learning labour club of Jerusalem which is the first fan owned club in the israeli premier league), is when we where losing 4-1 to one of the big 3 in the league. We had bad game, in very good season, where we beat the best clubs in the country on a consistent basis. At some point in the 70th minute, the malha brigade (the ultras) started chanting like animals. With tears in my eyes i sang, and fell in love. There is nothing like loving something that hurts. Trying to push the team even when you lose. The only thing that ia unacceptable is to not play your heart out. That is all we want. To know that the club is the most important thing to you. Mind you crowdes in the israeli outside of the traditional top 5 are small. We are one of the best supported smaller clubs in the country which is about 3.500-7.000 people at a home game. But teddy stadium roared the day. and hapoel have roared in my heart ever since. Yalla Hapoel, Jerusalem is red and beitar Jerusalem are literally fasicts

Im not necessarily a football fan I usually watch rugby or cricket But i must say I'm always very impressed by the huge passion football fans have everywhere in the world . Even for teams that are not that loud its still better than the atmosphere of all sports in general I really hope and pray other sports get more passionate fans

That 1st part is so true. You should never judge which club you support on the basis of how many trophies they've won.

Worst football fans: Manchester City in my opinion, did you see them at the Manchester City end in Istanbul before the UCL Final, it was dead quiet

No bro city fans are very underrated. They felt quiet because inter fans were on fire. The atmosphere at the etihad is electric at every game.

If you go to the US for a stadium Vlog, If it’s October go to Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, if it’s in the Summer go to Yankees vs Astros in Yankee Stadium, if it’s Spring then go to MSG for basketball, and if it’s January then nothing beats Arrowhead Stadium in the playoffs, then this is a rare one because it feels like it never snows in the US anymore, Lambeau Field in Greenbay, and then in March it’s College Basketball the only thing that matters in March, oh and if it’s Mid to late November then go to a College Football Game since it would be either Rivalry Week or Conference Championship Week, hope this helps

a 16 leipzig will beat down any american club and not just in soccer, in all americans sports too. Its a shame that I as an american will never get to experience this sort of amtosphere anytime soon in the US.

Bro, Roma and Genoa, for me the two best fans in Italy. In Roma the atmosphere is really impressive because there are a lot of fans and a lot of them chants every minute of the game, but the distance between the fans and the field isn't good. It's really impressive when they sing their "inno". Genoa is really different. Luigi Ferraris is the stadium where the fans are the closest with the field. The Gradinata Nord since last year is supported by Gradinata Zena too. The mote impressive chants are "Guasto d'Amore", a song of Bresh, and the chants to repeat. Trust me and go to see those two fanbase

This is exactly why Roma are building a new stadium, should be ready by 2027 for the club's 100th anniversary

Royal Antwerp FC also has some hardcore fans, if you watch an away game on television, you almost always hear the away-fans from Antwerp singing over the home fans, while they are losing 1-0…

I remember FC Porto fans in 2004 being louder in every stadium! I would recommend you going to Estadio da Luz in a Benfica UCL game, they put a good show. Eagle flying, the stadium turns red, and it becomes a diferent dimension.
