FYI Motorola T92 are PMR446, which means you can use them in European countries. If you buy them for US use, they will NOT work with FRS/GMRS frequencies. The InReach is NOT a walkie talkie, but an emergency satcom device.

You have to get license to operate HAM radios. With those Walkie talkies you will not be able to reach LA from Bakersfield. Get licensed and use a repeater network.

yes he said 35 miles yes the radio will do i as there is a G M R S general moble radio side it takes a c d rom in a computer to down load that info in to the radio then there is a pl tone to the tower and a f c c license to do it for a totial of 85.00 dollars you might want to stick wirh F R S and the codes will only work to keep people from talking to you when a group BUT I can still hear you only there it is fockes the real story from W R X N 824 is my call sign assined by the fcc and your still at a 1/2 watt rado with 1 mile range in town
