When washing my bike I just spray some kerosene or even WD40 on the rear wheel to loosen up the dirt, then I wash it up with an old microfiber cloth. I wash the tire after that using the same shampoo used to wash the bike. It works every time.

Turtle Wax bug and tar my man...works like a dream. Made for clear coat...perfectly safe and effective leaves a nice sheen clean as new.

This works wonders, not jus on wheels, removes road grim from anywhere u can reach,, i find it leaves a protective barrier if cleaned very well, then wipe it over until paper towels don't get dirty, makes it very easy for the future

too labor intensive, buy any reputable wheel cleaner and spray on before you rinse down the bike. let it sit for 15 minutes while the chemicals do their job. Than wash the bike thoroughly including a mitt for the wheels alone. Rinse off and 90% of your tire wheel be clean. Take a horsehair brush and clean the remaining 10% dirty areas - way less effort and using water/soap eliminates a lot of potential scratching from rock/debris.

THIS WORKED! I kept looking at my wheels and thought the tar and dust and dirt was baked on like a powder coat. I did not know what to do. Saw this video and gave it a try. The hard stuff came right off. I also bought the Megars Tar and Crap Foam remover just in case it did not work. Now I will use the Megars for touch up because the Goo Gone did the hard work with little wax on, wax off.

Kerosene would be a much safer option for the paint and you can clean your whole bike with it even your chain also without any damage at all .

Actually this is not really a good thing to tell people to do you're not supposed to scratch sand particles into your wheels or paint you should wet the bike spray some glue gun and then maybe use a light toothbrush or something like that

Over time it's beter to buy a microfiber cloth and wash it than using paper towel, which will scratch it due to some stuff inside (don't know the english word, sorry) otherwise the video is good!
