Hi .. Ekadashi was fake propoganda by British to mislead Indians from real rituals done on tritiya ( third day after full moon and no moon day ) .. Refer Capt Ajit Vadakayil blogs for more info.. But since people forgot real rituals and atleast did with devotion on ekadashi , the good effects are still there .. but reality is British propoganda still needs to be removed..

Sir, Hindi is a language where vowel 'अ' of letter at the end of word is dismissed away and is used as ् । In Sanskrit श्राद्ध correct pronunciation is just like this gentleman used. And not only this word, every word that Hindi pronunciates of Sanskrit has this problem

Maybe that's not a hindi word. Because in telugu language it is shraaddham , an adaption .... similarly it can be an adaption of kannada language or tulu language. I don't know but this can be a possible answer.

Every word is sanskrit not Hindi and each language like Tamil, Telugu has their own pronunciation. Adding an A or AM at the end is natural

I see that some people here, are remaining very faithful to the Scriptures and claiming that only we can deal with our own karma. However, again and again, I have heard from family members and other members of my Christian faith, that they have seen or have been guided to pray for the departed. Even that the dearly departed have come and appeared at times and asked for their prayers on their behalf to assist them. Seems to be exactly what this man is saying. Also, isn’t it true that if we aspire towards Enlightenment and full God realization, that we then realize that no one has any karma? That all deeds have always been inspired by God, done by God and are ultimately Gods possession? Isn’t our false sense of Ego just conditioning of an accumulation of falsely attributed possession of deeds? And that seems to be true to me and in a very real sense. for example, I seem to always feel obliged to deflect any praise I receive for any good thing I do, so as not to inflate my ego, yet I dwell and must overcome the negative feelings I get when someone points out a shortcoming or negative deed ( and then I realize that’s my Ego beating me up ) therefore, In a real sense, my deeds don’t seem to be mine?
