My Uncle has this same issue. It’s very serious! I will have to show him this video.

I was surprised to see this because i fractured my spine last year and the pain in my lumbar region (lower back) is really painful after my surgery in May this year. My MSK therapist said to me to lay down and put a tennis ball inside a small towel to cushion it and lay on the part of the back that is in pain. He said the pain will really hurt to start with and ease off after a while it could be 5 mins or up to 10 mins and then done each day the pain should subside as the muscle gets used to be used, so to speak. I have now been doing what he said for about 3 weeks now and it works. It still hurts but not as bad so i must keep this up and see what happens next. I will try you method and see what i prefer. 🙂Thank you

If its a tight muscle this will work well especially if you can massage some magnesium into it first to help it relax. Be gentle.

I'm going to try it! Thank you!- I'm going to do it again. Those areas haven't bothered me in a while (June 2024...again).-

Hi and keep up the good work! Question 68, any idea what they call pains that are in the buttocks when you stand after sitting? Maybe even call them spasams ? the pains are lower than the lower back.

Absolutely spot on! And an excellent video. This really worked for me - though I used a variation: lying on a firm grid roller. My first couple of days were painful and I could put up with only a few seconds at a time. I persisted and now - 2 months later - I roll 2 minutes each side every day and I have to work hard to feel any pain at all. (74 yo male)
