I just found these videos then did a little research on this guy. He’s a gangster. And not just world class. Anyone would have been finished with just one of the many injuries he competed with. Hats off to him.

This is pure gold, Travis... I usually have problems to manage a strong leftie in my weight class, now... I'm taking notes from you!!! My uchi mata against lefties will be stronger... Can't wait to the ippon-season come back! You're the best!!!

This is awesome. I never thought to use my left foot to move them (I'm a righty). That second tip is perfect for my challenges facing opposites

Hey Travis, thanks for sharing this! Would you ever consider posting a video demonstrating the best Judo techniques to use in a self defense situation (possibly also in street clothes to reflect context) ? Loving your content!

Uncle Travis, Do you think you can make a video on deciding what throws to base ones game around? there are so many techniques out there and I wanna focus on a few I just don’t know how to decide which to choose. Like you said pick your Pokémon.

LOL. I think we should do a live chat for that to answer everyones questions about it. It would be hard to do a demonstration about it.

Honestly many coaches teach throws and techniques but the transitions and kuzushi and timing are neglected this should be trained more than the throw hood stuff
