Hey i did end up finishing the grand campaign and getting the dei mod. Currently playing imperator augustus and i can say the mod definitely freshens up the game

@@Voidspacealpha when i did my research a lot of people recommended the grand campaign as rome, Caesar in gaul as rome. And Hannibal at the gate as cartage. Personally i completed Caesar in gaul and the grand campaign already so i went for imperator augustus. There’s also a new alexander the great’s campaign with the dei mod which im gonna be playing next.

Why did you send up your general? That makes no sense. Unless the general and bodyguards are engaged, I have never needed them to keep morale high, or near the army for their effectiveness. It is better to use them as a last ditch-effort to turn the tide at the final moment. That wasn't a smart move to bring them up next to the fight, being that there were: slingers, a heavy onager, and arrow towers, all behind a fortified wall.

@Voidspacealpha Uh, I don't think you are. It was a good video. I was confused, lol. Sometimes, I get brain dead after a long playthrough in one sitting, that I have made that mistake. I have also made the mistake of not sending in my high-value units( I forgot about them) after a long fight with my weaker units that took the brunt.

Yeah it’s a very real phenomenon. This campaign is drawing to a close, so I’m okay with the odd dumb decision now and then
