I want to let you know a rough country leveling kit. I watched your video so many times finally after a couple weeks worth of rain I've got to install it I want to give you a huge thank you. Because this trick absolutely work at save me a ton of time specially putting this lift kit on my truck by myself. Sad thing is the back was harder than the front. But once again thank you for showing me this trick and absolutely worked, I even bought the coil compression springs like you got.

I just use ratchet straps on my coils, double wrap strap tie a knot in strap 2 of them ,easy done is several times, did 2 1/2” for 275,000 miles now 5 1/2” spacer on with over 300,000 miles on, and 40” irocks 3” body lift
@NoNonsenseKnowHow3 жыл бұрын
Nice. I've used ratchet straps on coilovers in the past. But it never felt very safe to me. Definitely works though

Here’s the secret….if you want to tow with a level kit….you need to put helper springs on the rear. I’ve done it, never failed me.

Welllll damnnnnn!!!! 3 inch spacers, here I come !!! Come to think about it, might even make it easier to put a block under the 1st tire to compress the spring a bit before you even apply the spring compressors . Then tighten the shit out of them and then lift up that side to add the spacer. Lol 🤔
@NoNonsenseKnowHow4 жыл бұрын
Yeah that wouldn't be a bad idea! So long as you still have enough room to get in there

@@NoNonsenseKnowHow Yeah ha. Cool i'm running 285/75 R16. Really like the way your truck looks. Bought it with the leveling kit and feels little to big for me. Sags like crazy with the cab over on too

Quick question I’m installing a 3 inch level kit on my 98 ram 2500 and for the life of me I can’t manage to put the ball joint from the upper control arm back into the steering knuckle any idea as to how I’d fix this
@NoNonsenseKnowHow4 жыл бұрын
It's hard to give you any advice without actually seeing it to be honest. But why is the ball joint out to begin with? Shouldn't need to do anything with the ball joints for a leveling kit. I'm sure that doesn't help but I'm just curious
@hunterstaton25094 жыл бұрын
So from a video I watched he took off the sway bar and took the two ball joints off from the steering knuckle I can link you the video so you can see how I did it
@NoNonsenseKnowHow4 жыл бұрын
@@hunterstaton2509 sure. Paste a link. I'm falling asleep here but I'll take a look if I'm still up. Are you sure it's a Ram 2500 with a front straight axle? Or does it have CV axles and upper and lower control arms. Because that's a completely different story
@hunterstaton25094 жыл бұрын
It has cv axles
@hunterstaton25094 жыл бұрын
They are independent of eachother in the front the rear is a straight axle
