I think this shows why setting a win “limit” is important. As you’ve shown multiple times, the casino’s edge is over a long period of time - stick around long enough and you WILL lose. Pretty much every simulation run had a win peak. We can’t know when that is. So, set a win limit and walk away happy. Could you have won more? Maybe. Could you have lost? Stay long enough and absolutely. Great video. Thanks.

I agree with Rick here. Set a win goal and walk. Oh and a loss limit is a pretty good idea as well. -Thanks John Patrick. And thanks very much Jeremy for a fascinating look at pressing. Very insightful and helpful to the everyday craps player. One worth watching a second or even a third time!

Another takeaway is that 2-hits and down is the least volatile. In almost every set, it was the closest to break even, and when it wasn’t, it was only barely off.
@thekochdieselskils550614 күн бұрын
Say what you want, 2 hits an down was up in 75% of the shooters Jeremy simulated/rolled. It made money. Not much, but it made money. Thats a $50 table minimum strategy for me.

I love the 2 hits and down strategy. Works great on bubble craps as well

That's a pretty cool breakdown showing that your pressing method doesn't really make that much of a difference. My takeaways are that pressing helps to generate profit, but a solid win goal really helps to lock in that profit. I tend to press each set of sister numbers differently and once I'm in profit my go for it move is a triple-lux: Power-press twice and collect on the third hit. Good stuff, Jeremy. Thanks as always!

Hey Jacob I was curious as to the logic in Half pressing winnings vs half pressing or any other pressing? Just curious if you have done some extensive statistical data analysis over live rolls data to come to that conclusion?🤔Would be interesting!
@wagermethis11 күн бұрын
@Darksider-di2vo well I just test it against press and collect. Half press is cumulative in nature. Vs press and collect, you have too many 0 profit winning rolls.

For my money the regress systems are best. Get in and out then try and build a big win. Squeeze play or maybe double tap. :)

I would be really interested to see some press strategies tested vs. some regress strategies.

This past week I was in Spokane, WA and found a $5 craps table. Started with $300.00 and walked away with $553.00 after 2 hours. I bet the line and placed the 6 & 8. If 6 or 8 was the point I placed single odds on it and only placed the other number. After 2 hits I would go up 1 unit on the 6 or 8, then after every other hit I went 1 unit on the other. Once 6 & 8 had two units I went to double odds on the point. And continued every other hit covering each other number until all numbers had two units. Then I just collected from that point on. It was a fun night. Interesting was the bonus bet, they called it small, all, big hit 4 times in those 2 hours. The small hit 3 times and the big one time. The all was 1 number away twice. I never did bet it.

I think the key takeaway for me is that the way to the best overall strategy is to "get out of the hand" in the first 4 rolls maximum. Statistically speaking every shooter averages 6 rolls to Big Red. Now, not all of those rolls are points, so this is where even the best "in and out" can get bit, but STATISTICALLY the faster you get into profit the better youll do. The "Craps Strategy Tested for a Month" or some variation on that high risk for one roll and regress will get you quickly into a position where you can comfortably play a more aggressive press and collect
@allennewhausen254114 күн бұрын
The interesting thing about that "2 hits and down" strat is just how long you're standing there not betting on a hot shooter. On the longest rolls we see here, the "2 hits and down" default is just standing at the table not doing anything for up to 30 rolls! At a hot table where lots of inside bets are being made, that could easily be a full hour of just standing and watching other players play craps. It doesn't matter how profitable the strat is in general; I just don't see how anyone could actually manage to do that strategy without either getting bored or warned off by the dealers.

Bet high, scale down quickly, and then adopt whatever strategy suits your mood.

I’ll sometimes start doing come bets or down come bets after few rolls if shooter looks like a hot roller or every once in while throw in a field bet because it does suck to just stand there
@dragonshane2 күн бұрын
Agreed. I'm not gonna stand there and miss out on a long roll. Once my initial bets are paid for, then I'm pressing to table limit.
@SoarviverForever14 күн бұрын
great vid as always Jeremy. it seems the 2 hits and down is a winner except on those monster rolls. I was wondering if you could do a similar comparison vid with... 1)66 inside, 2 hits then drop to 44. (2 hits would make $42, effectively playing with house money) 2)88 inside, 1 hit, drop to 66, 2nd hit drop to 44 (these 2 hits would make $49, actually playing with house money) I like the idea of #2 a lot but my question is; is it worth the additional Point-7-out risk when at the end we're talking about a $42 vs $49 difference?
@kylemckiernan144513 күн бұрын
Resetting once a point is won is a good way to extract your money out of pressing. Nothing feels worse than having all your bets pressed up, the shooter hitting point, then coming out again and 7 out

My local casino had a 5 dollar crapes table on weekdays during the day time hours. I played the 2 hit strategy on it but bumped it up to 4 hits instead since covering all numbers ($60) and it was slow grind so I changed it to 4 hits and then just left the horn numbers up (2,3,11,12). And made 200 dollars in about an hour….want to say I’m also a big horn number thrower so it worked to my advantage

Man you are rolling FAST! I saw sweat fly a few times. Funny how the 1-unit looked good a few times. The Big Roll is where the heavy pressing will surge ahead, obviously.
@iptvclub157512 күн бұрын
There is different calls for your presses. What you did with a full press is actually called a parlay, if you say press they will just double your bet. For example if you have a $25 5. Pays $35 if you say parlay it will go to $60. If you say press it will go to $50 and dealer will hand you back $10
@ColorUp12 күн бұрын
You are right. I don’t remember what I said in video. But “press” just means double. I think I was saying “full press” but yes would correctly be called a parlay. Normally a parlay, uses all winnings, but in the cases I mentioned you’d still want a proper bet.
@cody2kirk200011 күн бұрын
They are always going to track very similar cause you're playing the same numbers. You should always have a number of rolls that you hit and then regress or if a point is hit cause otherwise they will always be cleared out weather you press and collect or half press or unit press.

Tried this on a $25 table @ Belagio Sunday $1000 Buy in. Cold table lost most of it Went to 3 ’point molly with pass line and full odds next day With the way I play which is if you make your point double all bets . I never touched the dice . 2 shooters 1 made 5 Points and the second 8 points It was profitable . Basically my point is the dice didn’t cooperate then they could do no wrong 🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️

I am not a fan of the press one unit strategy because it doesn't feel like I am being aggressive enough - but this video shows that for most average rolls it performs as well or better. It is an under appreciated strategy.

@ColorUp13 күн бұрын
I don’t know. That seems about right to me for random. That’s why I like to budget for 10 shooters. Couple under 5 rolls, and then many times one person has a 20 roll.
