Yup got it I always called these types of problems grinders because you simply have to grind them out step by step One of the most common mistakes not pay attention to you signs This was not a hard problem just time consuming You need yo have patience doing these Don’t be in too big of a hurry and watch your signs Also show “ALL “ of your work Show every step I had to get a piece of paper to do this problem I had to think about what I needed to do first ( the order of operations ) From that point it was just grinding it out

Hard one!!! Fun though. I'd rather do math problems than Crossword puzzles. It stretches my brain more.

This is a very nice one, just start at the bottom and work your way up... Step 1 (floor -2): 1 - 1/n = n/n - 1/n = (n-1) / n Step 2 (floor -1): 1 - 2.n / (n-1) = (n-1)/(n-1) - 2n/(n-1) = -(n+1)/(n-1) Step 3 (ground floor): 1 - 2 . (n-1)/-(n+1) = -(n+1)/-(n+1) - (2n-2) / -(n+1) = (-n -1 -2n +2)/-(n+1) = (-3n+1)/-(n+1) = (3n-1)/(n+1)

I got to 3-(4/(n+1)) before watching eliminating 1 of the n variables. Until minute 14 it looks te same in the video, at that point i swapped the signs so i got 1+((2n-2)/(n+1)) Then added and subtracted (4/(n+1)) which gives me 1+((2n+2)/(n+1))-(4/(n+1)) =1+2-(4/(n+1)) = 3-(4/(n+1)) Is it not conform the math factorization rules to leave this or is it an alternate right answer?
