Amaranth are flowers! Even better, they come in all varieties and colors, from giant red heads to long, draping green ones to small seed heads all over the stems to giant light green leaves to multi-colored leaves. And you can eat all the stages of the plants!

Crazy year, everything is out of bloom schedule here too. Heat is intense and zinnias are loving it, not so much dahlias. You made great decisions on what to grow. Thank you so much for the wonderful and inspiring videos! Love your dress reminds me of when I was little 💮💮

I think another factor in why a lot of the plants grew taller might be due to the filtered light? That may be why some of the early spring bulbs are shorter, there are less tree canopies to shade them?

So happy for you guys! You've worked so extremely hard and kept going and pursuing your dreams and goals during so much, that could have felt impossible. Where there's a will there is a way. Love for what you do and a determination resolute makes a huge difference. But it's getting helping hands and new options with new skill sets and bigger dreams and finding a bigger client base and all the things you've implemented during hard times for all that is most impressive. What a dream it would be to walk through all those flowers and create bouquets. This year's creations are exquisite! I live the peach and purple and the purple white ones the most. I love the sunflowers but having to not rely on them challenges you to do new things and it's proven amazing. I told you it would grow. As much as veg. Gardens are needed...the flowers are a way to brighten days and remind us of the beauty that is in each individual flower coming together to make a statement that there's value in each individual. And variety and unique difference has value! That we have the ability to nature such beauty is a gift that we are given and it's accessible to anyone that puts in the work to participate...but most valuable to those love them!

I L-O-V-E the Fama Scabiosa. I planted the blue. I have never been super in love with blue flowers but wow. They are frilly and lovely and have a gradient of color. The farm is looking fabulous. Great work. Looks like you have alot of harvesting to do!

You can get the giant carnations out of those my grandma was a florist in Northern Washington and if you take the time to pull the side buds early you will get one giant flower out of a stem. Yours are beautiful and it is a silly amount of work to get a larger carnation my grandma used my mom and her brother to get more bang for her buck doing the tedious stuff.

My BIG question is: How far apart do you have these flowers growing? I have heard (and also did) 6" apart, some 9" apart, so that is what I did and they DO NOT look like yours.
