@@Armaan_Aslam a good substitute for pasta is spaghetti squash. Tons of recipes but here's how I do it. Cut in half, take out seeds etc, lightly cover in olive oil, salt, then cook upside down in oven for 40 to 50 minutes. IMO it tastes way better then regular spaghetti and alfredo noodles.

Anthony, thanx SO much. I am a 47 year old father, and I'm not overweight or anything, but I AM really unfit, with a good amount of fat around my belly and hips. Just a week ago I started out with a HIIT - routine and can feel it working already, but I can see that your routine will be more effective. Also I am not a rich dad, can't afford to go to gym, can't afford a home gym, and I do have dumbbells, Barbell and some weights, so this will help me tremendously, SPECIALLY seeing you supply a FREE pdf with all the excersices. THAT'S AWESOME!!!!

Sorry about my english, but I'm from Ecuador and it's so hard to get a good jod and earn money here.. but I've bought a 18kg kettlebell and started 3 months ago doing a 3 sets. Now I'm fitter, my arms looks bigger and my legs stronger. Now I'm trying to loose my belly fat because i was 322 pounds 5 years ago and changing my diet i made it, but i have some loose skin that i want to dissapear. It's possible mi friend!! My routine now is: -14 goblet squat. -14 rows each arm. -12 kettlebell elevation. -14 rumanian lift + ketlebell chin up. - 12 zumo squat. - 25 swing. 1 minute rest. 3 sets. I started with 10 of each exercise. God bless you 💪💪💪

Hi, I am 53 and spent the last 4.5 months doing 3 months of Jim Stoppani's Shortcut to Size followed by 1.5 months of Starting Strength. My wife and I are staying at a hotel where they only have dumbbells. I talked my wife into doing this workout with me and I thought it would be a piece of cake. She is not a lifter and only does conditioning with her friends. I humbly have to say - she smoked me on this workout last night. We both enjoyed it and plan to incorporate it into our exercise plan. Thanks for your work on it.

God Bless You Brother !!! People get it all wrong thinking that they must do 90 minutes of super high tech workouts using the most advanced fitness facility in the country if they are to get in shape and you have just demonstrated that this is not necessary and this type of myth prevents older people such as I from beginning a fitness program and while an excellent fitness gym is ideal, it is also not critical and we can do this type of a routine with nothing more than a few cheap kettlebells to keep at least some level of fitness going.. Thank you so so so much as I am starting this program tomorrow !!!!

I've been doing this workout for 4 months (along with a daily cycling to work 9miles each way). The workout is the best. I've gotten stronger and fitter all round. I increased the reps to 12 for each exercise for a while and now started doing 10 rounds instead of the 5 in the program. So 100 reps total for each exercise set. I love it. Really have to dig deep. I've dropped 4 notches on my belt since I started the FFP workouts. Thanks Doc. You gave me (48yrs old) the tools to succeed. 🙂🙂

I've been working out, off and on, my whole life (I'm 50+). I got back into it in earnest a little over two years ago and took off about 40 lbs. I watch a TON of videos for tips etc. I must say this video is one of the better ones. my go to cardio routine is 30 minutes on a stair master followed by 30 minutes on a treadmill twice a week. I'm going to try this workout (followed by 30 minutes of cardio) twice a week and do my weight training 3 - 4 days a week. I think this workout might help me work through the belly fat I've been trying to lose. again this is a really good video (and so is that 7 (or whatever number) steps to weight loss - from sleep to supplements video). I'm going to come back in a month or two and give an update.

I do a KBell circuit of #1. Snatch #2. Windmill #3. Squat #4. Press with a 24kg KBell. I do 5 reps of each exercise one after the other with one hand then switch hands and do 5 reps with that hand. I repeat these 4 exercises immediately performing 4 reps with each hand and then 3 reps...2 reps..1 rep. I break for 2 minutes and repeat for a total of 5 circuits. It will get you huffing and puffing.

When you are young the tendency is to talk more than to do more. I've done it all and learned after working out with various gyms, martial art schools, Navy Seals, etc. that the best fat burner has always been bag drills (punching or kicking) combined with cardio running and jumping rope. Many will try hundreds of hyped workouts sold by good marketers to those who fall for it. (like HIIT, Parkour, Yoga, etc.) but in the end they will always return to the basics.

The exercises you described can be included in a HIIT workout. Any high intensity cardio exercise will burn fat. Period.

all so true.... middle age transformation can be humbling for most guys. BUT speaking from experience, Kettlebells provide a truly viable & efficient workout solution. I did not "discover" them until age 50.... using predominantly 35-50 lbs fairly average. Now at 57 have gradually progressed to 100+ rep Snatches nonstop with 60 lbs in 6 minutes, 20 Turkish Get-Ups with 70 lbs, and Two-Hand Swings 90 lbs for 4 sets of 25 under 5 minutes. My Point being... you can STILL achieve gains in strength & flexibility despite aging. Utilizing these complex ballistic workouts engage more muscle groups TRUE game changer!

Hey Nick, thanks for writing in and great question. The goal is to select a weight that allows you to complete the most of the routine, with good form. This will not only help build a good foundation, it will allow you to prevent injury and work your muscles the most effective way possible. The starting weight amount will vary, depending on your exercise history and prior experience but choosing between an 8kg-12kg range is a great place to start. -The FFP Team

Thanks for uploading this video.Is warm up and cool down necessary for Kettlebell workout. If so could you please suggest some warm up and cool down exercises.
@Fitfatherproject4 жыл бұрын
Hey Balaji, thanks for writing in and great question. Warming-up is an essential part of exercise as it helps prime your muscles to help you 1. avoid injury and 2. allow your muscles to work more efficiently and effectively to help you burn calories. You can warm-up a couple different ways before trying to workout. You can simply use the same movements and do a 1 rep of each movement; then perform 2 of each movement; then perform 3 of each movement....before attacking the routine (and same on the other end to cool down, 3, then 2, then 1). OR you could get your heart pumping a bit by doing 5min of some cardio activity (jogging, jump roping, elliptical, etc) followed by the two warm-up videos I have linked below. Either way, doing a proper warm-up is key for long-term success. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rWacpHebrteYppY&=& kzbin.info/www/bejne/nGPKl2SGqpxmndU -The FFP Team

I am a post transplant patient of 5 years and can't lift more than 10 lbs at a time. Are their kettle bells that weigh 10 pounds or less? Loved the way you showed a circuit training style and doesnt have to be done quickly. Move at your own pace? Please need a reply, as a 61yr old novice what would be a safe weight of kettlebell to use AND be effective. Last thing I want is injury but also need some results!! 😏 Great content, very inspiring , cheers Doc.
@Fitfatherproject5 жыл бұрын
Hey Mike, thanks for writing in brother and great question. Also appreciate the kind words! Regarding the weight for a 61 year-old novice, I would recommend trying a 10-15lb kettle bell to start. Another option is to try buying a set with a range of KBs so you have the ability to increase the weight, once your strength and fitness improves. Checking Craig's List or Facebook's Marketplace is a great way to find an affordable set that is probably lightly used. Best of luck trying the routine and remember, brace your core/flex your abs for each movement to keep your body strong and balanced! -The FFP Team
