Dude !!! Yes, yes,…..and yes ! I love all the selections. I haven’t tried the Glen Scotia or the Springbank but I’m sure I’d agree with ya. Totally agree with those Islays ! Oh man….ive only got about a third left of my Corry and my L 16,… so sad. I wish they’d last forever ! But couldn’t agree with you more. I’m definitely interested in the L 18 but it’s definitely way too much….unfortunately, the L 16 is out of stock everywhere right now….gonna have to make mine last. Cheers !

Haha same here! Awful feeling but I’ve truly enjoyed every pour so far from them two! Yeah it’s so annoying about the 18 years for laphroaig and redbreast. How can you charge more than twice the price for 2 more years at the same ABV 😤 it just rules me out straight away like I’d imagine it does to a lot of people. Oh no! Savour every last drop 😂 stocks are still healthy here 😁 cheers!

Very nice and impressive list. I only own four of the list but I will put the rest on my list if I can find them. You inspired me to open my redbreast 15 and I must say it’s a fantastic dram. Lots of caramel and vanilla. Buttery cookie and I can see where you get the hint of the fruit. It is really good.

It’s quite different from the rest of the line isn’t it? But I really enjoy it for that. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! Mines empty now 🥲 I must admit though, it needed to open up for me, took some time to breathe and release that mintiness

Nice video. Well, I haven't tried them all but the PC 10yo is probably my favourite peated, fair priced dram from Islay. Ardbeg Corryvreckan is my favourite from Ardbeg, no doubt. Bunnahabhain 12yoCS is lovely, but I've only had the 2022 release. Springbank 15yo is a really good version, but Springbank overall is marvellous, just a bit hard to get. When the last 12yoCS was released here in Sweden, it was available for about 2 seconds 😂😂..but I managed to get a bottle for the fixed price of sek888 (£66) at today's currency

I’ve just accepted that my springbank days are over because it’s just as hard to get them here in the UK now so you’ve done really well there. Totally agree with you on the PC10, I do think strangely it’s still a quite underrated whisky and I don’t know why, age stated, 50%ABV and tasty for an affordable price, what’s not to like! Cheers 🥃

@WhiskyWars Here in Sweden, every time something is released from Springbank, Hazelburn, Longrow and now often even Kilkerran, all the bottles disappears in seconds, so it's almost like a lottery 😂😂...the fastest finger wins

@bluesmanen1 that’s so true! I’ve never had the chance to buy a Hazelburn which I’d love to try, we can get a Longrow and Kilkerren release every now and then but springbank and Hazelburn, no chance. My fingers just aren’t quick enough! 😂

Before watching your video if we take £100 brackets best option in my opinion are 18yo. Ledaig 18 Deanston 18 Speyburn 18 plus Laphroaig 16 Kilkerran 16 cheers 😁🥂🙋‍♂️

Mic is still a little low. Does Springbank change or alternate the recipes for the 15 and 18? According to their website, the 15 is 100% sherry and the 18 is 100% bourbon. I really want a 100% bourbon Springbank.

Yeah I totally agree, thanks for commenting. It’s even lower than I thought it would be. This one certainly isn’t all sherry. I’d say it’s mostly bourbon (at a guess, 70% ish) with only a touch of sherry :) so perhaps they change it year on year?

Thanks Christine! I have since filmed with it on a medium setting, it starts on low out of the box which I didn’t realise so let’s see how it turns out in the future, if it’s still not as loud as I’d like it, I’ll have to do some research 🔬
