Basically portable Wi-Fi is our small devices which can be carried in your pocket and support a Sim card which then brings 3G or 4G network and create a Wi-Fi so your devices can be connected. It works same way as a mobile hotspot does. However, mobile hotspots are not supposed to be a permanent Wi-Fi creating devices. That's why people use portable Wi-Fi hotspot. Sometimes portable Wi-Fi hotspots are easy to carry when you're travelling as you can take them anywhere and make a Wi-Fi hotspot for your laptop while you're working. And yes you can use any Sim card in Huawei hotspot.

Airtel is best (Alcatel variant) you can unlock it and use it with any sim including jio also. Airtel works 4 hours of continuous using. Airtel cost 999/- at airtel outlets nearly 2 years ago but don't know they increased the price 😅
