Ensure the Nokians are not older stock Made in Russia. Got another set last year and still got Russian stock even though factory was closed about 1 to 1-1/2 years previously. My friend and I had 12 of the R5 SUV and all developed dry rot cracks within 3,000-5,000 kms (under 3,000 miles). I had various Nokian Hakkas for about 20 years previously on both our vehicles that were Made in Finland with no dry rot after 5 seasons.

I do have currently the Hakkapalita R2 made in Russia, 7 years old now and no cracks at all yet. Going to replace them now with new Nokian or Michelin. I was hoping this video helps me to decide which one to buy, but it looks like they are equally good for the Canadian winter 😂
