A lot of top tier wireless buds came out in January, so I’ll be going over and comparing the ones I reviewed this month. We have the Final Audio ZE8000, the Noble Audio FoKus Mystique, and the Bowers and Wilkins PI7 S2 and PI5 S2. I’ll be going over their technical features, and comparing how they sound. Here’s what I tried in pursuit of overcoming AAC Bluetooth limitations: so iPhone can’t play 24-bit through Bluetooth, however it’s possible via lightning out (even using standard 3.5 audio adapter). So I tested Bower & Wilkins’ Pi7 feature of case retransmitting analog audio from any 3.5 audio out directly to earbuds. With standard Apple adapter though there wasn’t enough volume (amplification?) and overall result didn’t impressed me. But I tried connecting Dragonfly DAC with Apple’s “camera kit” adapter into Pi7 case and from there into earbuds through what I believe is 24bit Bluetooth streaming between case and buds. Result was good, I think maybe more detailed and less boomy low frequencies, maybe a bit better staging and imaging. It wasn’t significantly better than standard Bluetooth connection. But this definitely worth looking into… Also I think B&W should’ve marketed this feature better it’s cool for musicians on the go, as you can tweak small synth or groove box without using wires.

Ive heard everywhere that noble mystique had the best sound quality although im struggling because they dont have ANC and i would be using them at my noisy work. Would you say that alot of noise gets through to where you need it or does it block out a decent amount of noise?

yeah theyre just 'preview' sounds, real sound should be better (than what i heard) speaking of which the new gr series seem too op, it doesnt sound like universals like previous grs, prob using ciem driver/s

Yeah, I find if you have pass-through volume all the way up its not great, but short of that, its fine. Not the best but not bad at all.

Imo Bowers and Welkins PI7 S2. Has an extra cool feature too which is it has a cable to plug into any earphone jack back to the case and transmit it to the earbuds wirelessly

Wo wo wo !!! For definition the pi7 s2 are a litlle bit better, BUT the MW3 are louder (huge difference), the bass kicks harder and thighter, the vocals are way better (push to the front) and the anc are better on the mw3!!! And what a huge difference in price !!!! Go for the senny’s !!!!

Most people say no. Similar sound. Best features would be better antenna and quick charge for battery. Unless your original Pi7's have frequent bluetooth drops, it's not worth the current $400 price. That said, some people got a 30% off discount when they first released through B&W. At that price, I would've upgraded.

I have them both and NO don’t buy the second gen if you have the first gen!!!! Second gen has lower volume and less bass. BUT the bass is improved with the second gen. It’s more controlled, less boomy and the bass kicks tighter with the second gen. BUT, again, the second gen lacks of volume!!!! So stay with the first gen

I have the second gen. It sounds perfect. I'd say don't change. It gets plenty loud. But really anything I need full volume.

B&O EX and nuratrue pro!!! I have over 35 earbuds and i can tell you that nuratrue pro are in different league !!! My favorite are the B&O EX because the sound signature is better (sound stage, voices is astonishing!!). But in the gym i use the nuratrue pro… the bass is brutal, NO…. The bass is insane !!!! The clarity is excellent and soundstage is excellent. BUT the volume is soooo loud hahah those earbuds can makes you deaf !!! So, for the gym sessions go with nura !!!

Yes i have those earbuds! The ZE lacks of bass…. A lot !!!! There is no bass in the sound !!!! Even with spotify tweaking the bass in the EQ… you have no bass !!!! The pi7 s2 is the most overrated earbuds on earth hahah they are less louder than the first version, they have less bass than the first version… so, no i din’t like the pi7 s2! The momemtum 3 tws sounds wayyyyy better with their new customized sound features… believe me my friend! Try them and you will love the momemtum 3!! Way louder too !!! The Mystique is in my top 5 earbuds… but less bass than the momemtum 3. Mystique is for audiophiles. But for fun earbuds, momemtum 3 all the way, B&O EX or nuratrue pro! You can listen to El Jefe or Ronontech or Flossy Carter (the most famous youtubers for headphones) and they are at the same thoughts than me. :)

I just re ordered the sennys after returning them 6 months ago (was anxious about the price and thought they were just “okayish” even though I did love them), got ‘em for 170 this time much better 😭sound update customization great. Going to reorder beoplay ex’s because I lied to myself when I said the AirPod pro 2s were good enough when in reality they are boring. Anyways trying to figure out a 3rd pair to add to my collection on top of the senns and ex’s, which is different enough from those to make it worth the buy?

O yea part of the reason I initially returned the senns which I’m remembering after getting them back today is the anc kind of hurts after a while and causes an ear congestion sort of feeling since it’s such a snug fit with no de pressurization😅and that bass thumping combined with the anc makes me feel like I’m gonna lose my hearing but o welll

actually its not :) IMO , BEO EX is worst performing over those all. except final ze800 i owned all of them included beo ex. and returned them very low volume and weak. not full of sound.. too much flay not dynamic or brigter sound. FYI Noble is King, then B&W pi7 s2 then ze8000

The hidden gem right now is the Vivo TWS 3 Pro. They have the best balanced and accurate sound currently

Everyone already knows that the Airpods Pro 2 and the Samsung Buds2 pro is the best audiophile wireless buds out there. Honorable mention Sony WF-1000XM4's. Unfortunately, fit and size on the Sony's won't be for everyone especially with smaller ears.

@@anarkan191 He just knows popular brands but has no clue of actual sound quality. Not necessarily that the one's he mentioned are bad but they are nowhere close to those in the review
