Honestly, I feel like the DJI Mic 2 is perfect for using with your phone or other smart gadgets. It's got wireless Bluetooth and a bunch of handy connectors.

@@RogerF150 I heard the wireless Bluetooth connection is not very good on the DJI Mic 2 so you’ll probably get much better results by using the receiver. But the receiver for the DJI Mic 2 is a lot bigger than the usb-c and lightning receivers that you get with the Hollyland Lark m2 (combo version), so it might be more inconvenient if you are trying to film some handheld shots while using the DJI mic 2 with your smartphone.

Dude, noise cancellation sound was still excellent quality. Relax. And I hang out in world class recording studios and am OCD picky!!

I was very attracted to the Lark M2 but that's superseded by the Rode Micro which has a much more functional windmuff.

@@WillNewcomb The Rode Wireless Micro seems like a decent mic for smartphones but from what I saw, they’re going for around $150 and can only be used with smartphones or maybe some-other usb c devices (like my DJI osmo pocket 3) whereas the Hollyland Lark M2 Combo Version that comes with all the receivers you need to use it on smartphones and dslr/mirrorless cameras is only $139 right now. So I guess it just depends on whether you’re mainly going to be creating content on a smartphone or a mirrorless/dslr camera. Since I create content with multiple devices (Sony ZV-E10, iPhone, DJI Osmo Pocket 3), I just prefer to have the Hollyland Lark M2 (Combo Version) for that added versatility and convenience. 😁

@ Agreed. I'm a smartphone user only so the Rode appeals to me especially as the windmuff is far easier to use than the Lark M2
