Best Wood Drill Bits. Review

I Love these wood drill bits. They drill through hardwood and exotic wood cleanly and quickly. In this video, we are going to compare this Tivoly brand drill bit with a normal high-quality wood drill bit (either from Izar or Bosch, I'm not sure). You'll be amazed at the difference between the two. The special geometry drill bits seem sharper, drill holes faster, both in the end grain and through the wood grain, and even produce cleaner shavings.

I do not have those Tivoli drill bits yet... But I have an old large set of "CASTILLO" brand, that now are "Tivoli" brand, and allow me to say that those are extremely good drill bits made to DIN 338 in HSS with Cobalt, for drilling hard metals like work hardened stainless steel, and they work beautifully! So, it is a fine factory making top quality products.

The bit geometry is leaning toward that of the old brace and bit hand drills, having more of an auger design, not quite as aggressive and without the lead screw to pull the cutters into the wood. You didn't mention a price comparison.

Do you notice they stay sharper, for longer, than a standard drill bit? Do you know the material specification of these bits? They seem to remove slightly more material per pass with less heat (less friction) so I am assuming there is less wear.
