Here’s my top 3: 3. Zach’s Zoomer 2. Wolverine Wildcat 1. Shivering Timbers I’ve only ridden 12 coasters, and the only wooden coasters I’ve ridden are all at Michigan’s Adventure.

My only disagreements with this list are that I do love Phoenix, and somehow Shivering Timbers is missing. I prefer Legend to Voyage as well which I know is very contrarian.

@@ThemeParkMotivation I haven’t done Boulder Dash yet, but I have Thunderhead close to my top 10 woodies, although I heavily disagree with you saying that Lightning Rod doesn’t come anywhere close to it. For me LRod is way better. As for Mystic, I’ve always been super disappointed by it, so it doesn’t come anywhere close to my top 10 woodies

I haven’t been on most of these. I don’t even know if I have a top 10 for woodies. But the ones I do have ranked are as follows: 1. El Toro 2. Phoenix 3. Twister 4. Ravine Flyer 2 5. Lightning Racer 6. Invadr 7. White Lightning My list is very limited.

Phoenix not being on this list is a crime - I can respect not putting it in the top 3 like many do, but I think it's a solid top 10. Buzz bar airtime! Of course, I probably haven't been on as many coasters as you... El Toro being unreliable - yep. Didn't get to ride it on my last SFGAdv trip... My top 10 wooden coasters: 1. Phoenix 2. Mystic Timbers 3. El Toro 4. Twister (Knoebels) 5. The Beast 6. Thunderbolt (Kennywood) 7. Lightning Racer 8. Jack Rabbit (Kennywood) 9. Racer (Kennywood) 10. Flying Turns (does that count? It's wooden. If not...) 10. Comet (Hersheypark)

Finally worked up the nerve to ride The Voyage this year for the first time, now I’ve ridden it at least 7/8 times, it’s insane forreal lol and you’re not lying you pull up to the station a little outta breath, it’s fucking awesome. Definitely think the 2nd and 3rd hills are the best, first one gets you nervous but the 2nd and 3rd ones you’re going fast when peaking them, I love it. Glad I’m only 45 minutes away, but they need to start investing in more coasters, they’ve been heavy on the water park but they have the space and they’re batting 1000 on roller coasters so far, even Good Gravy is fun for what it’s meant to be, a family coaster. They could definitely start stacking steel coasters or bring in RMC for The Legend that would be so dope. Either way they need to start adding coasters. Love it either way though it’s always fun no matter how much you go

I know they have brought in a lot of attention with the Thunderbird and Voyage but Thunderbird is way too good to be as short as it is, they need something big to really start bringing in more and more people. Free parking and drinks is an insane plus too.

@@TheCoasterSerpent I have not once seen any one complain about an RMC other than they used to have issues with upgrading the wooden track supports, which they have since gotten better at. The Legend is not that serious, I’ve been riding it since I was tall enough to ride roller coasters, it’s great but it could 100% benefit from something like RMC could provide. Hell the only problems HW has really had with any ride designers were Intamin with that absolute money pit disaster Pilgrims Plunge. Either way if they’re not gonna build a new one soon they need to change up the old ones, could even rebrand it as “The Legend: Reborn” or some shit and it would be 🔥

Sorry, I hate the voyage, that roller coaster hurt my neck. My number one roller coaster in the US is. Lightning racers at Hersheypark. My number one roller coaster in the entire world is wildfire in Sweden

Voyage is definitely one of those coasters that is not for everybody so I totally understand this that being said lightning racer almost made this list. It is also one of my favorite coasters as I go to Hersheypark lot. The only reason it didn’t was because it really needs a retract, and the fact that it doesn’t duel much anymore
