Peak overwatch. No sleeper bastion/sigma, no poking for minutes on end. Just pure individual and team-based skill. High paced, action packed overwatch filled to the brim with individual plays!

This is one of those matches I'd love to see a Best of 10 of. Both teams are willing to roll in the mud and be aggressive. No boring slow death group comps that poke till they win or are slow to be killed.

Due to visa issues, Team China's coach couldn't come to the US and had to coach remotely. He had to watch a stream from the manager for lower delay and send his comments as text, then relayed to the players via the manager.

I would consider this game as the People's grand finals. It was a game between two teams that were showing off just how great of a game Overwatch is. There was no big battle of which team comp is better as much as it was simply which team played better. In the end the team from China won, because they had better synergy and I find that to be amazing. What a fun game, it felt more entertaining to watch than the actual Grand finals.

I still think the 2022 OWL Grand Finals is the best OW match of all time. 2 Teams very close to each other, the meta was decent and every little decision mattered and on top: they went the full distance in a nail biter match. I think the only person that day who "stood up with the wrong foot" was Finn.

Honestly.. I feel like there were a few picks at flex DPS you could argue would have made Korea more stacked. I know it's Rush and he loves Sparkle.. But they could have used that extra boost on a few key heroes. Besides that yeah, they weren't comfortable on a few comps

You could make that argument for every role... You could replace there tank line with Someone... Proper or Pelican would have been upgrades. Viol2t def should have been there. Merit and shu could also replace lip and fielder but that is more debatable and close.

@@danielbeattie9509 all of this is up in the air, but the reality is that we know rush's em/dallas core is proven to work good together, won a grand finals together and even more tournaments. they have some of the best team chemistry of all time when it comes to competitive overwatch. throwing together a hodgepodge of what is percieved as the best individual talents throughout the previous season of owl doesn't equate 1:1 of team upgrades. what if merit and shu commed different in houston than rush was used to coaching? like they had a different code word for a certain thing? I think it was extremely fair to stick to dallas core + lip. also we didn't know how good someone and checkmate among others would do coming into owl season 6, which is when the roster was decided.

This is not entertaining to watch. I tried to really watch this but it’s not doing it for me. The team aspect of this game is really weak. It’s just 5 individuals on the same team, it would be better if they just dropped the rank role at this point. The tank just feels and looks pointless. It’s just a bigger dps character with a shield or some sort of damage negating ability, just make em all dps.
