Egh I liked goats, it was less about sick plays and more about flawless team work. I found beauty in it.

On the upside: Having the video bitrate lower than old PAL Standards from the 1950s has the upside of fast downloads for Videogames without limiting them :D On the downside: I can count macroblocks on 1 hand :D

I know very late, but the 4th invited western team for S1 was NRG, who also had roster changes either during or just before the tournament, Gods and Pookz leaving because they had disagreements with the org. Also a total of 34 players in this tournament made it to owl.

When I watched this game I opened the video in two tabs, played one muted, and offset the other by a few seconds for the audio. It meant the in-game audio was a little off but the casting was accurate which made it a lot easier to watch LOL What an absolute banger of a match

Custa you're amazing, it's insanely cool watching this fire in you start to really catch. From the hero designs to this, I honestly believe the sky is the limit for you man and I hope to see you continue to do amazing things. Did you also do the music for this game?

I was catching up on your vods and had just about finished the first one of your gamejam when I saw this notification. I thought I'd give it a go, and I was blown away with the polish and design progress that you'd made in the next couple streams! The game is very fun and also incredibly challenging for a smooth brain like me. If I was to offer any suggestions, it would be to maybe play a sound the first time a checkpoint is collected, just to give me that peace of mind. Otherwise, it's absolutely perfect.

Great work! Got a whole heroes journey in there :D Impressive for a first game for sure. Im doing a soundtrack composing jam at the moment. Its also the first i ever joined and im excited to see what it will be like but the best part is meeting people with shared interests. Funny coincidence to see a video like this from you, pop up in my feed :)

Making games like that is really fun and a very good way to learn! I started with doing small games like that in college while studying computer science, then I studied in game making and now I work at a big studio, but I still love to mess around in my spare time. It's always a learning experience and makes you better at problem solving. I'm not an artist either, so my stuffs never looked good, but I would argue that gameplay is more important than visuals.

This is not entertaining to watch. I tried to really watch this but it’s not doing it for me. The team aspect of this game is really weak. It’s just 5 individuals on the same team, it would be better if they just dropped the rank role at this point. The tank just feels and looks pointless. It’s just a bigger dps character with a shield or some sort of damage negating ability, just make em all dps.

31:27 For Mauga, what if they rework the left mini-gun into a short range flamethrower that has a resource meter (like D.va matrix or Moira healing) and keep the left mini-gun the same? Keep the burning-crit combo of using both weapons simultaneously, but now you have to manage a resource effectively to get the most out of the combo.

I would say there is space for Leave to be put into the GOAT conversation. Lip has been incredible dominant on incredibly dominant teams. He has practically always been on incredibly well organised, well funded, well coached teams. Leave has done so well with practically every disadvantage. If he had good teammates the coaching/behind the scenes team was awful. He was on a team that was so badly organised it literally never officially left OWL, it just stopped turning up. Even when he got onto a great team they were hit with disadvantage after disadvantage and he placed 3rd at OWL and 2nd OWWC.
@galaxyrend5 ай бұрын
I love leave but he isn’t even in the top 5 lol He started later than every current candidate and hasn’t won even close to as much and doesn’t even have higher peak performances than someone like Lip.

Lip got 9/12th in 2022 and 7/8th in 2023. Viol2t went to 66% of grandfinals in OWL, I don't think it's close. You can say Viol2t didn't make Dreamhack, but we all know they were one map away and they woulda made Grand Finals of Dallas because NA and EU are just bad.

This format definitely benefits the LIP goat conversation because Viol2t is on the 3rd best team in the world and not at this LAN... I definitely think LIP could be considered the goat quite widely by the end of the year though, not just because of his success but because of what I call the "he can't do more" argument. Meaning that LIP was rolestar in his debut season and then the best in the hitscan sub-role every year since (even if he was edged out in a particular tournament, across the year he was always far and away the best from 21-24). Viol2t's change to main support has definitely hurt him in this comparison because he still isn't competing for best in the world in that role, even though his overall support value is immense (the ability to switch to double flex support simply hasn't been important enough the past few years to benefit his case in this regard).
