I just found your page today and I have to say, I'm impressed and really enjoy your content. I also went to your website to check out your foundation list and noticed that you haven't tried Laura Geller's baked pressed foundations. I would strongly encourage you to do so. I'm 53 and this year and (thanks to menopause) have suddenly developed lines, sags, creases and wrinkles. LG's foundations have been my saving grace, providing buildable coverage that's never settled into lines or wrinkles. I have oily/combo skin and live in the very hot, dry AZ desert, and while these products don't always have the longevity I prefer, touch-ups are super easy without looking cakey on me. Even though the marbled foundations are 'self-customizing', I actually had to buy both medium and light to get the best color match as I go from my lighter, winter skin to my summer 'suno-kissed' skin. Thank you for what you do! I've really enjoyed catching up on your recommendations and trials today.

I too love that Living Proof styling spray… I have very fine hair, and it’s the ONLY thing that works to keep humidity from making me look crazy. I’ll have to try that oil; I think it’s been reformulated (haha), because I used to use it all the time and then couldn’t find it for a long while…

I fell back in love with the Milk bronzer and blushes, I took them with me on my work trip last week and they were just freaking amazing from the portable size to performance. I also was reminded to thank you again for recommending that AirQuart zippered liquids bag back in one of your ancient "how to pack liquids for travel" video. That with my trusty contact lens cases I was golden, that bag truly is amazing, it's held up so well for me (whereas newer bags I've purchased have worn out) and it fits so much. For airports where you still need to pull out your liquids I was all set. But honestly I'm going to keep using it even after we no longer need to separate our liquids across the board, it's just a great bag for travel.

I’ve been loving the Cerave hydrating sheer sunscreen broad spectrum 30 for face and body. I have super sensitive skin and usually break out with chemical sunscreens and haven’t with this hybrid. It plays well with my make up too

I really do not like to wash my hair every day. I have found that by using the Living Proof dry shampoos right after washing and drying, and then touching it up again each day, I can extend my style for several days. Using dry shampoo proactively is really the only way it works for me. Also, the Living Proof shampoos have proven the most effective, at least for me.

Pretty sure eva NYC is like a brand dupe for amika, scent and all, but I'm not certain. I like so many products from the brand. It's my favorite dry shampoo for the moment, I'm obsessed with the packaging and scent of the heat protection, the hair mask is a staple in my collection and I think I'm going to get the regular shampoo and conditioner to try.

You look beautiful! And thanks for the video, super helpful!! Those new Kosas wet sticks look really nice - do you think they’re similar to the Chantecaille lip chics in texture and appearance? My June discovery which has become an absolute fave is the Sisley Le Teint anti-aging foundation. It is absolutely stunning. Unfortunately super expensive but I got it on sale. I’m mid-40’s and it’s so hard to find one that covers but looks like skin and doesn’t emphasize wrinkles. It literally feels like skincare, I don’t even feel it on, no idea how they did that but highly recommend it if you can find it at a discount!

I've had that happen with one Kosas product I tried in the past that everyone loved. I think it's because Kosas is so "clean". I guess it's a risk we take with all these clean brands and all the regular brands reformulating to be more clean. They go off pretty easily. But my lipstick is lovely - nothing off about it! :)

120° heat 🔥 🥵. How on earth are you still functional? I suppose it's to be expected in desert areas, but still, that's crazy hot!!! I think the Makeup by Mario blushers and the Chanel Sublimage Le Teint foundation have been my favourites this month. We're quite the opposite of desert here - not an ounce of dry. ALL humidity, which is what ups the "feels like" temps so much to 120, etc. It's crazy and makes you feel so tired! Those are nice favorites! Thanks Chrissy! :)

I can't stand nars anymore . The new blushes are so thin they blend to nothing and aculy lifted my fundetion. The powder cream blushes after they change the colours and tones for warm tone it looks horrible. Use to I had this orgasm blush from nars and I hit pan after pan on that one. It was more pink and neutral to cool and it had the gold flakes in it. O it was the only one I used. Now ugh no thank you. I am glad it works for you but I pass. Thank you for your recommendation I always enjoy to see what you got.
