Most definitely agree!! He's introduced me to alot of songs & artists I may never have run across because I'm retired and more of a homebody now. So barely ever listen to the radio anymore.... So now I get all my music advice from KZbin, mainly Grady's videos!! Idk of anyone else on YT that works as hard as he does putting out HONEST Country's Best & Worse lists. He doesn't go by the person's popularity, (like his honest opinion of Luke Bryan & FGL) he rates by their true talent, including every aspect of a good Country song-- lyrics, guitar-too much or not enough steel, acoustic & electric-- and then his honest opinion of how a song either moves him, or doesn't at all. Im sure not everyone out here always agrees with Grady, and that's okay..... we all have our personal favorites. But at least he's HONEST, and puts out true quality videos. I actually started a Grady's Playlist of ALL his videos, because I don't want to miss any! Then filling up a notebook of songs & artists he talks about that I know nothing about, or had forgotten about. So I for one really appreciate ALL the hard work he puts into each & every video! He has ALOT of subscribers, so I hope he himself is never an under-rated KZbinr, bec he's definitely one of the finest!!! #MadRespectForGrady

I started listening to Country in late 2017, when Cody Johnson’s album Gotta Be Me was huge in Texas. I listened to the radio a lot, and was lucky enough to hear his music on the radio since I lived in Texas. Basically the dude was the biggest independent artist probably ever. I mean, 80 mil streams on Spotify, 5 albums, sold out Houston Rodeo and no label? I think that when your independent you can only be played on radio stations in your state, so he basically got to the point that he couldn’t grow any more until he got signed. But, he stretched it out as much as possible, and really tested the limits. Being in Texas meant that he got a ton more airplay while independent than someone from Alabama would because the state is a lot bigger. I really don’t think getting signed was his goal, but eventually he went to the limit and had to. Hats off to him

My favorite country from the 2010’s really came near the end of the decade. Childers, Pardi, Riley Green, CoJo, and midland were my favs and gave me hope that the 20’s will return country to the 80’s and 90’s greatness

All I have to say is that on Gary Allen's album "Set You Free" the song Bones on that album is such a good song.

Omg I totally forgot about a thousand horses. I miss them. Songs I can’t stand sangria by Blake drunk girl by Chris j and strip it down by Luke b. You could’ve included Taylor Swift on here cause her speak now album came out in 2010 so mine and mean deserve recognition.

God gave me you by Blake Shelton is gonna have to be my favorite because it got me hooked on country when it came out. It doesnt have the same ring to it now but I still love to listen to it every now and then. So much nostalgia

Except that song is a cover of the original track written & performed by Dave Barnes, a Christian artist. At least he got a LOT of royalties & even a couple of Grammy noms to boot...

Love hearing you give ups to Wheelhouse, one of my favorite country albums of this century. Super misunderstood record. "Officially Alive" was a big one for me.

I attended a university an hour from Tyler Childers' hometown from 2014-2018, during his rise as a "hometown boy" in Eastern Kentucky. Everyone loved him, and trust me, he would get played at parties and everyone would go wild. It is so exciting to see him gain more nationwide success. I was ecstatic when he was nominated for a Grammy. Check out his song "Follow You to Virgie." It is about his friend's grandma passing away.

What makes me kind of hate Drunk Girl is the line, "pick up the life she threw on the floor." It just rubs me the wrong way for reasons I'm not going to articulate well, but boil down to saying she deserves whatever could have happened, so it's a good thing you're such a Good Guy.

I think people need to understand that country music is changing. We might be in a bro/boyfriend country era, but it doesn't mean we have to hate everything coming from it. Don't get me wrong I don't like Luke Bryan and other pop country artists, but some songs are still nice to listen to even though they are not lyrically perfect. Some people grew in previous eras and dislike what is new, but I believe there is still a lot of good stuff coming from bro/boyfriend country.

Kason Wright Bro country is sometimes fun to listen to, but it’s very repetitive and that’s all there was on the radio for years
