Movie recommendations are endless, but a couple underrated streaming options are "Its Whats Inside" and "Greatest Hits". Both with unique elements to them. Civil War is at the top of my overrated list haha Love Alex Garland, but that one had so many flaws in my eyes (some of which you mention and elude to)

Perspective, are you serious. 60 years of perspective and all movies now are made for children or for your guest who couldn’t be bothered showering or dressing as an adult and neither of you saw the same films. This after I watched the Stephen Fry interview. C’mon Josh I thought you were going to lift me higher…..but no.
