This is like a man going into a luxury purse shop trying to pick out a purse. This would be my husband shopping in a purse store with me. I think a perspective of purses of what Dan or any man would be willing to hold in public for their wives would be a funny video. My husband hates having to hold certain bags while we shop in public based on comfort and style. It is hilarious sometimes. Or he hates when I don’t bring a bag that will hold some of his stuff like glasses and keys. Depending on where we go, he will ask me to bring certain bags and make sure his stuff fits before we leave the house for an event. Love the reference to the Sorting Hat!

Oh yeah I was watching another Chanel and they said Chanel now has chain adjusters (may not be the correct name) but you can ask your SA. They use it to shorten the chain so you can shorten your chain on the mini rectangle! I’m so happy to see your brother’s electric blue Chanel back in showcase.

I’m not subscribed to her channel and I don’t have personal experience but just thought of it when you were asking about it, so hopefully it helps!

from my experience guys mostly care about bright fun colors for women's fashion (think The Matrix the woman in the red dress! like the red color is the only thing the guys notice lol) you should do a video like this of something he likes (maybe cars or something?)! watch his heart break like idk babe it's just a car lol

Also! I completely agree with Dan on the brown color - I also really dislike cognac brown. it sounds like he would prefer a darker chocolate brown (think like a dark chocolate candy bar or the damier ebene treated leather from LV) which I would prefer as well. You are right though that the cognac brown color is easier to match with other colors compared to a darker or redder brown. As a result, I mostly wear black not brown (I also mix black and blue I know it's a fashion faux-pas but whatever I swear I make it work)

Any reason you don’t have the Chanel 2.55 mini instead of the periwinkle Chanel mini? I don’t see anyone with 2.55 in their reviews. It’s the same size, no logo, designed by Coco Chanel herself. I like that though he definitely roasts the bags, he doesn't do it in a way that directly and indirectly is insulting to you as the person who owns them. Sometimes roasts go a bit too far and end up insulting the person, not the bag. These are fun. : )

I ❤this kind of videos, especially when Dan commented that the Gucci Diana bamboo handles maybe made of plastic! Or if there’s a similar bamboo handle on another bag to compare the bamboo veins on each bag. If it’s genuine bamboo, it would be different unique bamboo veins. I always thought of the same thing too cos these bags are mass produced. I would go in Gucci to compare the handles next time I bypass a Gucci boutique 😅

This was so much fun. Dan really cuts through the hype and says what he thinks. He is right about the chain on the Strathberry bag. I have the larger size and I have never seen a chain like it before. It’s more like a piece of jewellery than a bag chain. It would be really good if you could both do one of these videos on medium and large bags. The medium would be especially interesting as that would include a lot of your Chanel bags.
