The Munchurian Candidate is absurdly overrated. It gets funny once Peter goes up to Babs' room, but the first two acts are largely pretty dull and the subplot is just grating to watch. Brian and Chris's bitching got more and more tiresome for every scene it occured in. The Treehouse Of Horror was fine. The third segment was very meh, but the first one is decent and the second very good. At least I didn't feel immense regret sitting through it.

That actually isn't the first time _the Simpsons_ parodied _Death Note._ There was a story in one of the Halloween issues of Simpsons Comics called _Murder, He Wrote_ in 2008. Bart was Light, Lisa was L, Krusty was Ryuk and they also did a shift in art style. I don't remember much about it, besides Milhouse dying of joy that his parents were getting back together.

I'll say that the first three seasons of Family Guy were pretty good. I'm not gonna act like it's as great compared to (the golden age of) The Simpsons, but the stories were coherent, the characters were likable and the humour was more then just filler and cutaways. I would recommend these episodes in this order: *A hero sits next door *Death is a Bitch *Brian Wollows and Peter Swallows
