Although most sri lankans are good people, there are some who try to take advantage of tourists. This is why it is important that you guys always have a trusted local guide with you, so he will know the local prices and save you'll from being scammed. For example, the tuk charged you'll 400 for 1 km ride whereas it should be 100 or 150 max. Anyway, I'm glad you'll had a good time and enjoyed my country. Well, Pettah is not the best place for me as it is always too crowded and too busy, but you can get everything at a bargain price. And it holds the best deals always. It's good thing it was gloomy as it was going to rain while you were there as Pettah is unbearably hot and humid if the sun is out. Awesome video as there is never a dull moment. Stay safe guys! ❤

When you visit a country never go to super market. By local spray free food in the local market and help those families while enjoying organic. British colonial effect is there at least they speak English. Some Asian countries it’s really hard to communicate. I love these lankans lankans smiling. Love it 😊

For westerners, handling spice is the hardest thing in Sri lanka lol. I do have experience coz I spent 5 years in Chicago as a child. So I got that US taste buds with me which was basically sauces and stuff. When I got Sri Lankan spicy food I was like damn man this shit is tripping. But now I'm used to it. When you travel to outstations ( except upper part of the country ) from Colombo first take a train to Makubura multi transport station , go for lunch or dinner ( there are good restaurants , just hand distant ) then you can select your way up to the destination ...😊
