Yeah I mean regular ascension is just too overwhlming. It's just too over the top. Conquest of Azeroth will be better because you can learn and study each class. Knowing what to do, knowing what others do. Instead of running in blind in a pvp fight and not knowing shet about your opponent and prob get smashed or cc'd to the ground because they play some stupid ass OP build. Conquest will be more tangible.

Yes talent trees are implemented and beeing worked on as we speak in alpha at the moment we only have acces to a few esence points to put it now since lvl 40 is max.

I will definitely be playing this! My only gripe (very minor) with it is the class order on the character creation screen. Can they not go in order of their schools of magic/damage? Physical (Guardian, Barbarian, Ranger), Arcane (Pyromancer, Chronomancer, Stormbringer), Nature, Shadow etc. I reckon it'd be cleaner/clearer. I'll be interested to see what they make out of the different classes too. Guardian's being tanks with 2H is a very welcome class and gameplay change. Historically, full plate became the staple of the knight and they mostly abandoned shields because of it; they wore the shield. Adds a bit of immersion for the history geeks. And yes, I like to feel like the game is grounded in logic to some capacity. Hope to see some solid progression. They're making Blizzard look stupid with their ambition here.

@@Eilaura Is it not a debate in-world? If I'm not mistaken, Mages can manipulate the Arcane into different forms, like fire and frost. A shaman is bestowed the elements at the will of the elemental lords, and would therefore be called nature/elemental magic, where a mage manipulates them into existence from base arcana, therefore making their origin the Arcane.

@@scehr not sure, never heard anyone talk about that but if I were to guess they're of the school of mana because everything is formed from mana, there are subclasses of arcane/fire/holy/nature etc but they're all formed on the basis of the mana we supply
