Don’t over think dot, 2 most valuable attributes on a receiver: the ability to separate and ball skills. He’s elite in both categories, anyone knocking his size hasn’t paid attention to league trends at the receiver position. Also understand how as productive as he was, his production was severely limited by quarterback play. Draft him anywhere past pick 5 and he’ll justify the selection. Don’t over think quality

Completely agree. Just talked him on the channel the other day. Huge fan of this dude. Creates seperation of the line of scrimmage. Can win vertically down field and has tremendous hands. 1st round pick no question about it. Checks all the boxes besides being a little undersized (but does not play small at all)

@@obiang24 that doesn't really make sense though because the #1 prospect on most draft boards is Garrett Wilson who is only 1 inch taller than Dotson and the same goes for Chris Olave who is also only 6'0 compared to Dotson at 5'11. In fact only 1 of the top 5-6 wr prospects is over 6'2.

Besides the one-handed catches, the most impressive catch, IMO, was at 02:57, where he basically caught that 50-50 ball in essentially triple-coverage. And wrestled the ball away from the defender. Very impressive.

Dotson is late first round to early second round but it really comes down to how many teams need a WR in the first 32 picks. Skill-wise, I'd say late first round as well.

@@Sam-ReedDIII they don't have ANY depth behind Diggs and Davis for outside receivers. If either of them go down, the Bills offense will be severely limited no matter how great Josh Allen is. They need CB too, but Dane Jackson proved has a capable CB2 alongside Tre White. Plus when you play QBs like Mahomes and Burrow, it doesn't really matter who you have on defense. You gotta be able to outscore your opponents and the Bills need more speed and weapons.

That isn't true, it's rare and does happen much. The NFL best wide receivers are 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th round picks. History has shown that the majority of NFL talent comes from rounds 1-3. The later round picks are not expected not be pro bowl level players
