Well assuming they were face to face when the table was being turned the wrong way. This is how it went down. Jeff claims that Motley turned around and stabbed him in the back. This of course means that Jeff first turned his back to Motley as if to leave giving him the chance to stab him in the back. Of course at this point (according to Jeff) Motley also turns around showing Jeff his back. Motley then stabs Jeff from across a badly turned table while their backs are turned to each other So to answer your question... The other way is the way where you actually stab someone.
