it gives a decent amount of levels, roughly 30-40. but sometimes you cant use a shovel to burn the fire or sometimes the water doesnt put it out either which if ur abit late to heal the golem he will die as he has for me twice now and is kinda annoying.

Best farm but a way more efficient way to get ur potions maximized of use is opening the trap door and healing the golem ever time he takes damage not only does it take like 10 ingots for the whole thing but for me it gave me 39 levels for the 3 mins

Silverfish break stone and cobblestone for some reason. You can use smooth stone or other blocks that are not stone/cobblestone and I think it should be fine.

It's because this farm is for Bedrock only, regardless of what the video creator says. It has been the case since 2020 that Trident killers don't work in Java.

So it gets like 19 levels from 0 every use and when you press the water at the top press it again to suck back up after 2 seconds because then silverfish can swim up water and kill the golem which happened twice at my farm

And I put 4 golems in the farm and then used it, and doing the math, 1600 SILVERFISH WERE SPAWNED AND MOSTLY OUTSIDE OF THE FARM, I FELL INTO THE FARM AND LOST 43 LEVELS. Safe to say that any other farms I make I am not letting my friend near 😅

Worked pretty great for me followed instructions exactly without too much pausing either. One thing I would suggest is actually trying to encase alot of the machine in smooth stone at the bottom as I had some silver fish leak through. I'd also suggest building it away from your base and maybe in a deep basement of your base as if silver fish do escape and you can't find them get used to some noisy neighbours lol. 9.5/10 build from me dude!

Do you have others on your world? Exp is only dropped when the person who threw it, aka you, is in the area. So someone may have picked it up and threw it again so they are credited the kill and given exp. So try picking it up and throwing it back on again. :)

I just wanted to put this out there for any java players. Instead of a button, you have to use a sign to stop the water. Also, trident killers don't work in java. Your best option is to just make the silverfish flow into a small 1 x 1 x 2 hole that you can only see into from outside via path blocks, then use a sword. Also use a normal campfire instead.

i made this farm but in a slightly different way. i use a magma block to trigger the golems silverfish. i have not perfected it yet by any means. but this video is where i got the inspiration from. so thank you @ModStop. i have a chamber where i make the iron golem. i nudge him into the magma spot in the floor. i turn on the trident killer first. then the splash potion to the golem. then i use a sticky piston facing up to the sky to move the magma block up to the golem to trigger the silverfish. then i use a looking 3 sword to collect all of the XP at the bottom of the farm. easiest XP ever.
