1) Yes 2) Unsure. The Bit Bar is purpose driven. The BitVault is personal. You can use it for whatever you want. I don't always carry the Bit Bar, but I wouldn't mind having something LIKE it that can also hold toothpicks, my (much needed allergy meds) and other small, improtant things.

I have a leather toolkit with all my torx heads and bits. And I got it for 9 dollars. Much cheaper than this. But this is very solid and built to last it looks like. I wish they made a cheaper smaller version for pills. I carry a lot of different pills in my medical edc

Sorry I don’t get it. It is big and bulky. Only holds six bits. Who would mix medicine with bits contaminated germs and who knows what else? I use a Keybar bullet with smaller CR123 battery containers from County Comm(one for pills and one for bits) holds a lot more and better storage.😐

If only it were a ratcheting bit driver that came with a proper set of impact rated bits. The bitvault is nearly useless as a tool and pointless for carrying small items. A cigarette box, pack of gum, or sunglasses case provide greater storage capacity for absolutely no additional cost. The bitvault is a gimmick adult toy that should be at the dollar store.
