Hey Taylor I’m a full time light duty diesel tech, I work on Powerstrokes all the time. I did two 7.3 injector jobs this week actually. The pickup screens on those super duty/ excursion fuel senders come apart pretty often. Whenever you end up doing the injectors I recommend Motorcraft remanufactured injectors or Full Force Diesel injectors only! All other brands I have used are junk. Make sure to suck out all the oil and fuel out of the cylinder before you put the injector back in, if you don’t you risk hydro-locking the motor which is really bad. Make sure to oil the o-rings on the injectors when you are pressing them back in so you don’t roll an o-ring and so it goes in easier. I’ve got a bunch more tips I can tell you about but my thumbs are getting tired! Hope it goes well.

Wow, in my opinion this takes your channel to a whole new level! It is reassuring to know there are those good people out there. They are far and few in between these days. I always try and help others any time I can. My thought is that you can’t expect someone to help your family if you are not willing to do the same. Pass it forward. Thank you for telling this story! I will have to send you my EDC photo some time. Keep up the good work. I think you have met the ultimate Good Samaritan family?

I absolutely love these kinds of videos. Sure, Blade Show Texas would have been fun. You would have remembered the events of BST for a while but, you my friend.... had an experience. You experienced kindness, helpfulness and human decency. Above all else, it sounds like you made a friend. I'm a big believer in karma so the next time you drive by someone else who is broken down on the side of the road its your turn to "Do Something Kind For Someone" (DSKFS).

Great story!!! Love my great State of Tennessee. There are many people like Buffalo across the entire state. Across most of the country. I’ve recently lived all over the state of Florida. I found some more than amazing people there. Sometimes I feel like we are being sold on how bad things are, but it’s experiences like this that show, this is why they call us the “United” States of America!

Taylor, congratulations, you have met and befriended some truly “good people” as my old man says. The kind of people who give and give and give and don’t expect anything in return. This was… Maybe my favorite video of yours. Even though you didn’t talk about EDC gear. When you meet people like this, you come away changed. It makes you want to do for others in the way that they have done for you. I really believe that you are a better person for this experience, and you will continue to realize that over time. I myself have had somewhat similar experiences with people giving selflessly when I have been in need. I’m really glad that, in the end, you all were able to come together to fix your truck. Looking forward to future videos, and please, when you return to “Buffaloe’s” place, be sure to make a video of it and share it with the rest of us. Also, please be sure to let him know how much the rest of us appreciate how he and his family came together to help you out.

I've experienced almost the same problem with my 7.3 Excursion. I've been thinking this might be the issue, but now I'm definitely gonna drop the fuel tank. Glad you met awesome helpful people, and figured things out. Also, as some others commented, this is a far better video/story than a Blade Show video could have been. I loved this video. I have always believed that the greatest asset America has is its people. Buffalo and his family are the kind of folks that we have in the Pacific North West - chosen family; people with whom you form a familial bond without any of the blood ties and traditions one usually has. To mutually choose to treat people as family over the years makes for a very special bond.

Taylor, You are correct! There are a lot of good people still out here. I'm not going to go into my whole story but I had a very similar experience coming back from a camping trip and breaking down on the highway. A perfect stranger helped me and my family get parts for my car and get back in the road and home safe. I noticed that you mentioned you gave him the inkosi., I did the same thing. I gave this gentleman my Mini crooked River a knife that I love alot but there was no other way that I could repay him for the kindness that was showed to me and my family who were perfect strangers. Thank you so much for making this video. I really needed to hear this. With everything going on in our country right now it's so easy to get swept up in one sides propaganda or the other, it's what it's meant to do- divide us. I've become so cynical lately that I've forgotten what I've learned: Yes there are bad people out there and yes you need to be cynical and weary, but and I can't stress this enough despite the cynicism you still need to stretch your hand out to people because it's the only way we can help pull each other up. There are some truly amazing people out there and you may not always run across them but even you do it restores your faith in what the people of this country can be.

You were very lucky to break down in Tennessee. people there are very nice. My parents are both from there and we use to visit every summer from fl and the people there are so much better then they are here in Florida.

Edgar Evins is closer to Nashville than Knoxville by a lot and on the beautiful Center Hill lake. People like that are why I miss Tennessee.

This was an awesome story shout out to Buffalo and his family I can genuinely say I'd love to just shake that mans hand I bet something just as small as that would be an amazing experience he really seems like kind of guy you'll never forget and that says alot about a person theres not to many people now a days that would do the things he did to help someone so god bless him and his family they deserve nothing but the best of luck and I can't wait to see him in a future video.🙏🏻

great story. nice job diagnosing the problem. you must feel proud lol. Great feeling. Buffalo sounds like an absolute champ. Sounds like you had a better time than what you would have if you actually made it to the show. Would have been a unique experience. I think they'll be on your xmas list for a while
