And at the same time she was messing around with Elvis Presley. Elvis friend Marty lacker said he used to drive Elvis to McGuire and lacker informed Elvis to be careful that she's with a mobster. Elvis still dated her.

It's been my theory that Accardo was the one who shot giancana. He's the only one who could get close to him and who giacona would actually turn his back on. He was too jittery to do that with anyone but his own family.
@russellseilhamer45523 ай бұрын
Tony A should’ve had a movie made about his life; more successful than probably any la cosa nostra gangster in American history. The key to his success was in creating front bosses and running Chicago like a corporation. He was CEO but had a board of directors. The focus in Chicago was more about making $$$ than killing your way to the top and they were far more powerful than NY because they owned the judges, aldermen and cops. If you become part of the outfit then you are the beneficiary of all this power. To me, NYs 5 families had nothing on Chicago. Chicago mob was like the mid century General Motors of organized crime

Chicago was fundamentally different from NY in that there was a board of directors running the show. Tony Accardo and others ran the show like a corporation. Yes, Giancana was powerful but not the ultimate all encompassing dictator because that’s not how Chicago worked. Every boss ended up in prison while the board of directors were never touched. No one messed with Tony Accardo especially

Getting JFK elected was the beginning of the end for Giancana and almost the end for Frank Sinatra. The mob was seriously considering a hit on FS because he had stuck his neck out to get the Kennedys elected. The Kennedys used FS and threw him away just like they did with Marilyn Monroe. Frank and the mob would mend fences over time. He had to disassociate himself from Giancana because he was too hot in the early 60s. Murray Humphries raised a lot of objections to supporting Kennedy in 1960. Had they listened to Murray and supported Nixon, they would’ve been better off. The Kennedys were snakes in the grass
