I'm Mexican and I grew up eating beef tongue, bull testicles (mountain oysters), blood sausage, intestines, stomach, brains etc. I had never seen tongue prepared so many different ways!! They gave me some GREAT ideas!! I had a friend who was half Filipino and she told me they had a dish called Power and one of the ingredients was poop.

The duck tongue just reminded me of eating duck hearts in a dish I had in Quebec City. It was AMAZING. Each bit tasted like a super flavorful piece of steak. Great video as always!

I have nostalgia for my grandmother’s cooking of beef tongue. If I remember correctly... she caramelised in brown sugar before boiling (simmering?) in dark soy sauce until tender. Been a while since I tried making it myself.

Love your food videos. I enjoy learning about the different cultural foods. I grew up in a household where my grandmother would at times bake a pig or beef tongue for my grandfather. For some reason I could never come around to trying it. I give you a lot of props in being able to do so.

Nice videos Love them! I grew up eating tongue I'm from Africa. The top layer of the tongue supposed to be removed. We cook it like a 45 to an hour let it cool down and peel the top layer and reveal a beautiful pink color. Then you can sauter with garlic parsley a lot of pepper enjoy it. I'm glod to see someone come out of he's comfort zone. I converted my American husband to it😊

I'm from Spain and I grew up eating Cows tongue. My mum makes it by boiling it really long until it's soft and tender and then she coats it with flour and fries it and we eat it with a side salad, fried eggplant and zuccini.

Beef tongue is so delicious. I get it pickled like corned beef from the butcher then boil it for half an hour, peel the tongue then press it into a circular plastic container, cool it in the fridge & then slice it. Tastes great on sandwiches. I've never seen any other tongues though, Australians are like Americans when it comes to unusual offcuts.
