try Indonesia, sonny! But instead of java island, try sulawesi island. Been living in both island, but I can say that sulawesi is the better one if you're looking for a more tasty trip and better views! especially the rural villages around there, they have unique and interesting foods like cooking some wild greens with copious amount of pork, pork blood, and spices inside a piece of bamboo on an open fire.

Finally, you go to Dalat. I think my hometown is not food paradise like Sai Gon, but "nem nướng" is good choice and you should try "bia hơi". But I would love to see Dalat with mountains, pine trees, artificial lakes and French style villas through your camera.

It's not very likely that you'll get robbed in VN but it's better to be careful. And if you need help, just ask, (most) Vietnamese are very eager to help a foreigner - which is kind of a special treatment because I wouldn't get as much attention being a Vietnamese tourist... unless you're Chinese (some Chinese tourists are very rude and it left bad impresssions).

Your videos inspired me to explore some Vietnamese recipes at home. I actually revisited a couple of your Banh Mi episodes (it seemed the simplest to start with, lol) and made a chicken version for myself just last week. It was amazing! Probably nowhere near as good as the ones you've been having though. Also holy crap, I bought fish sauce for the first time... I had no idea how strong the smell was. I had to open up my windows in our apartment in 15 degree weather to air it out! Worth it....
