Sonny was in Dalat? That makes me happy because this is my parent's home town, I was there once as a kid but I don't remember much of it. I'm Vietnamese by descent and I'm not being bias but Vietnamese food is so freaking good, there is so much varieties that you can eat for days without repeating the same food and it's all delicious!

CLIFFORD DANG dalat was the summer home for the kings of Vietnam because it is in a valley at the top of a mountain. Known for their annual flower festival. Food wise they are known for their shrimp dishes and broken clay pot rice. Very scenic and beautiful place.

After immigrating to Canada, as a child he would take me to a Vietnamese restaurant in Edmonton for lunch and it would be the French bread coupled with a plate of hot meat bone soup and bits of beef and carrots in it. Online reviews of local restaurants really helps me here in the States, and also it has maps... sometimes I find in Yelp there's a highly-rated local restaurant I can easily get to, but somehow it doesn't show from the road, or is in the back of a store, you know?
