So many bands over the years seem to focus on negative emotions like rage. Band-Maid always brings the more positive feeling, love, friendship, being yourself, striving for what you want to be. This is one of the many reasons I love this band. They lift my heart with every song.

They even make "Hate?" one of their few songs which really doesn't have a positive message...well, I guess it depends if displaying hate for someone who cheated is a negative message...some could see it as a positive...LOL. But even a song about pure hate and distain...Band-Maid makes it sound upbeat and happy... And the conversation between MISA and Kanami in "Hate?"...sounds like pure happiness to me. PO!🕊

Sounds familiar, lol, although I did love Akane's fills and Mincho's solo, as well as their gorgeous look from the get-go. I'm still not sure I will get over that abrupt ending, though. 😁

Me too. They have two songs like that for me, oddly, both collabs. I wonder how the Warning one will hit me. I guess it isn't pure Band-Maid I'm expecting or something, even though their early stuff was essentially collab too, and I love that. I dunno, it's weird.

Pastor Brent, the best words to describe this song is beautiful (in so many ways), ethereal, angelic. The Maids, dressed all in white, look aangelic, especially Kanami with her gossamer lace "angel" wings. She then takes us soaring into the heavens with her solo. What a song of love and friendship. These Maids are so special.

Bestie, in the vein of other great mid-tempo Band-Maid songs like Daydreaming, About Us, Memorable, Anemone, Endless Story, PAGE, Wonderland, Awkward, Start Over, Mirage, At the Drop of a Hat and Smile, was co-written by Michael Einziger of Incubus. MISA's playing and bass tone are setting new standards... and Akane's drumming is so in-the-pocket and distinguishable... and Kanami's solo is Daydreaming masterful! The recording and mix are as enjoyable as the song and beautiful MV! And Miku’s English lyrics are heartfelt.
