BESTISAN SR02 Powered Bluetooth 5 0 Home Audio Bookshelf Speakers

I originally bought these to replace an old pair I was using from my old surround sound system but realized the speaker connection on the back of these are output and not input, so I decided to just add them to my surround sound system as side speakers (on one side) and connect them to my receiver thru Bluetooth and they work great that way and were easy to set up and get working.
The sound out of these speakers is better than you would think and if you adjust the bass and volume on the back of them, they sound even better.
At seven inches tall, they are smaller speakers, but bigger than my old speakers and big enough to put some great audio out and really help fill the room with surround sound from all corners of the room. Makes hearing the sound much easier now than having to turn the volume up.
These do have multiple ways to connect to them if you need them to and come with the cables that would be needed as well. These are also powered, so they do need to be plugged into an outlet to work and play sound.
These speakers have great high and lows and play well no matter at a low volume or maxed out. I have heard no cracking or squealing out of these so far.

Any idea why phones and tablets can connect securely to these via Bluetooth, but playing my laptop through them sounds like a very badly damaged old CD, skipping every few bars?

Mine might be broken, i dont see an on off switch. Is it the actual volume control?

Normally, in Stereo audio and RCA line cables, the Red Line channel is considered the Right side, and the White Line channel is considered the Left side. So, knowing this, R=red=right, W=white=left, hope that helps.

How does it turn on and off?

If you hit the mode button until the LED flashed red, it will go into standby mode, other than that, you have to unplug it.

Can I plug my turntable to these?

as long as you have an input cable that will fit and go between the turntable and these speakers, then yes. Does your turntable have a 3.5mm audio out port on it?

Most likely yes, as long as your turntable has RCA Line-outputs and have a built in RIAA preamp it should work. But for some older turntables, you might have to go through a phono pre-amp first. So, it would depend on your turntable model.
