@@Its_Leona.L Hello Leona. Yes, I like mine. Very useful in time-saving. I got mine at COSTCO MTL. When you got it in person, it was $189. Online at the COSTCO site, it was $199. I saw it also at Canadian Tire at the sale price you've mentioned. I think it's a really good deal then. If you ever get it, take 2 minutes & look at my little video explaining how to make the tools ( dough hooks, whisk, beater ) go lower. The screw to do so, to adjust the height can be very tough to turn & you may cause it to strip. That screw is factory sealed & can be, for some, a bit too high from the bottom of the bowl. Hope this helps & if you can/want, keep me in touch if/when you buy it. Be well & safe Leona. I made a small mistake when I said I paid $170. I misread the price I guess.

That can happen with any mixer. I've seen reviews for KitchenAid, Kenwood, Smeg and all had to have the bowls scraped. I have a KitchenAid mixer, and I have to scrape the bowl, too. Regardless of how close the beater gets to the bowl, there will be some ingredients that don't get mixed, unless a person is using a flex-edge beater. From what I've seen of the Cuisinart mixer, it does a good job, generally speaking. Don't give up on it, as I think you will get to like it very much.
